Josh Buchan (born 22 January 1995) is an Australian racing driver who currently competes in the TCR Australia Touring Car Series. Buchan won the 2023 TCR Australia Touring Car Series championship. [1]
Buchan had a late start to racing, beginning karting in 2011 just before his 16th birthday. He participated in karting until 2017, when he moved up to competition in Formula Fords. Buchan won the 2018 New South Wales Formula Ford championship, winning 17 out of 19 races during the season. In 2019, he took victory in the Formula Ford 50th Anniversary event at Mount Panorama, earning him a scholarship to move up to the Australian Formula 3 championship, where he finished second in points. Plans were made for Buchan to move the S5000 championship for 2020, but the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. [1] [2]
Buchan signed to race in the TCR Australia Touring Car Series in 2021, driving for HMO Customer Racing. [3] Buchan finished seventh in the championship in his first season. In 2022, he finished third in the championship standings, and in 2023, he won the championship over his teammate Bailey Sweeney. [4]
In 2024, Buchan signed a two-year deal to continue driving for HMO Customer Racing. [5]
Buchan was born and raised in Lithgow, New South Wales. [2] He currently resides in Glenmore Park, New South Wales. [1]

Norberto Edgardo Fontana is an Argentine racing driver. He participated in four Formula One Grands Prix, debuting on 29 June 1997 but scoring no championship points.
Russell Peter Ingall is a former full-time Australian V8 Supercar driver. He won his V8 Supercars title in 2005, and finished second in 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2004. Ingall has also won the Bathurst 1000, in 1995 and 1997. His particular driving style earned him the nickname "Enforcer".
Jason Paul Bright is a retired Australian racing driver who competed in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship. He drove the No. 56 Ford FG X Falcon for Britek Motorsport, a satellite team of Prodrive Racing Australia, before retiring from full-time racing at the end of the 2017.
Esteban Guerrieri is an Argentine racing driver currently competing in the FIA TCR World Tour for the GOAT Racing Honda team. His early career in single-seaters saw him become Formula Renault Eurocup champion in 2003, finish third in Formula Renault 3.5 in 2010, and claim the runner-up spot in Indy Lights in 2011 and 2012. In the WTCR touring car series, he was the most successful driver in terms of race wins and was overall runner-up in 2019. He also won the Nürburgring 24 Hours in the TCR class in 2020.
Casper Gunvad Elgaard is a Danish auto racing driver. He has competed several times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 2001, as well as regular drives in the Le Mans Series. In 2008 he finished second in the LMP2 class of Le Mans for Team Essex in a Porsche RS Spyder. He also won his class at the 2008 1000 km of Monza. In 2009 24 Hours of Le Mans Elgaard won the LMP2 class in the Team Essex Porsche Spyder.

The 2024 TCR Australia Series was the fifth season of the TCR Australia Touring Car Series. The series will run as part of the Australian Racing Group's SpeedSeries. Initially, the rounds at Sydney Motorsport Park and Mount Panorama Circuit were scheduled to be part of the TCR World Tour, but the rounds were removed from that championship due to logistics issues for teams transporting cars in to the country.
