The 2018 SMP Russian Circuit Racing Series was the fifth season of the Russian Circuit Racing Series, organized by SMP Racing. It was the fourth season with TCR class cars.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">TCR Touring Car</span> Touring car racing specification

A TCR Touring Car is a touring car specification, first introduced in 2014 and is now employed by a multitude of series worldwide. All TCR Touring Cars are front-wheel drive cars based on 4 or 5 door production vehicles, and are powered by 1.75 to 2.0 litre turbocharged engines. While the bodyshell and suspension layout of the production vehicle is retained in a TCR car, and many models use a production gearbox, certain accommodations are made for the stresses of the racetrack including upgraded brakes and aerodynamics. Competition vehicles are subject to Balance of Performance adjustments to ensure close racing between different vehicles.

Aleksey Mikhailovich Basov is a Russian racing driver. He is a current member of the SMP Racing driver programme.

The 2019 World Touring Car Cup was the second season of the World Touring Car Cup and 15th overall of World Touring Cars promoted by Discovery Sports Events, which dates back to the 2005 World Touring Car Championship.

The 2019 SMP Russian Circuit Racing Series was the sixth season of the Russian Circuit Racing Series, organized by SMP Racing. It was the fifth season with TCR class cars.

The 2020 SMP Russian Circuit Racing Series was the seventh season of the Russian Circuit Racing Series, organized by SMP Racing. It was the sixth season with TCR class cars. In 2020, the GT4 and CN classes were added to the main Touring, Touring Light, Super Production and S1600 classes.

In 2021, the competition was held in seven classes: Touring, Touring Light, Super Production, S1600, S1600 Junior, GT4 and CN.

The 2022 SMP Russian Circuit Racing Series is the ninth season of the Russian Circuit Racing Series, organized by SMP Racing. It's the eighth season with TCR class cars. In 2022, the competition's held in eight classes: Touring, Touring Light, Super Production, S1600, GT4, CN, Historic LADA Cup and Time Attack Unlimited.
