The 2009 Ginetta Junior Championship was the fifth season of the Ginetta Junior Championship. The season began at Brands Hatch on 4 April 2009 and concluded after 20 races over 10 events also at Brands Hatch on 4 October 2009. This was the last season that the drivers raced Ginetta G20 cars. They were replaced with the G40 in 2010.

The 2008 Ginetta Junior Championship season in association with Motorsport News was the fourth Ginetta Junior Championship season, the championship designed for racing drivers between the ages of fourteen and seventeen years of age. The season began at Brands Hatch on 29 March 2008 and finished at the same venue on 21 September 2008, after twenty-four rounds. The championship was won by Muzz Racing's 15-year-old driver Dino Zamparelli, who did enough to hold off the challenge from 16-year-old Thomas Carnaby.
The 2008 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain was the sixth season of the one-make championship. It consisted of 20 rounds, beginning on 29 March at Brands Hatch and finishing on 21 September at the same venue. The series supported the British Touring Car Championship throughout the season. Tim Harvey claimed his first title, having finished as runner-up to Richard Westbrook in 2004, Damien Faulkner in 2006 and James Sutton in 2007, Michael Caine finished the season as runner-up. Other front runners throughout the season were Sam Hancock, Tim Bridgman and Phil Quaife. Guest drivers Stefan Hodgetts, son of former British Touring Car champion Chris, and Nick Tandy were also victorious. Former BTCC race winner Paul O'Neill was another notable guest driver.
The 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season was the 53rd British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. It began at Thruxton Circuit on 4 April and finished after 30 races over ten events at Brands Hatch on 10 October.

Tim Bridgman took his first title, holding off the challenges of reigning champion Tim Harvey, James Sutton and Michael Caine. In the other classes, Glynn Geddie took home the Pro-Am 1 title, while Glenn McMenamin won Pro-Am 2.

The 2010 Elf Renault Clio Cup United Kingdom with Michelin season began at Thruxton on 4 April and will finish after 20 races over 10 events at Brands Hatch on 10 October. Jake Cook is a British racing driver, currently competing in the Protyre Formula Renault Championship for Hillspeed. He is the nephew of former British Touring Car Championship driver Paula Cook. He won the MSA Young Driver of the Year award for 2010, the first recipient of the award.
