The 2011 Australian Open was a tennis tournament featuring six different competitions, and part of the 2011 ATP World Tour, the 2011 WTA Tour, ITF Junior Tour and the NEC Tour, as tournaments for professional, junior and wheelchair players were held. The tournament took place at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia, from 17 January to 30 January, it was the 99th edition of the Australian Open and the first Grand Slam event of 2011. The tournament was played on hard courts and was organised by the International Tennis Federation and Tennis Australia. [1]

The Slovenia men's national tennis team represents Slovenia in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Slovenian Tennis Association.
Vasek Pospisil is a Canadian professional tennis player. Pospisil has a career-high world singles ranking of No. 25, and No. 4 in doubles. Along with partner Jack Sock, he won the 2014 Wimbledon Championships and the 2015 Indian Wells Masters men's doubles titles. He also reached the quarterfinals in singles at the 2015 Wimbledon Championships.
Igor Sijsling is a Dutch former professional tennis player. Sijsling reached his career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 52 on 17 February 2014. His biggest accomplishment is reaching the final of Australian Open Doubles with countryman Robin Haase in 2013, where they lost to the Bryan Brothers. In singles, he reached the third round of the 2013 Wimbledon Championships and has victories over top players including Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Milos Raonic and Mikhail Youzhny. After the end of his career, Sijsling became coach to Tim van Rijthoven.
Grega Žemlja is a retired Slovenian tennis player. He has won five singles titles and one doubles title on the ATP Challenger Tour. In 2012, he reached the third round of the US Open, the first Slovenian male player ever to reach that stage in a Grand Slam tournament. He is also the first Slovenian ATP player who in 2013 reached third round at Wimbledon. He reached his highest ATP ranking of World No. 43 in singles in May 2013, becoming the first Slovene ATP player to reach the top 50. Žemlja also became the first Slovene player earning over 1 million US dollars in prize money, and he was the highest-paid Slovene player in history until he was passed by Blaž Kavčič. He represented his country as a member of Slovenia Davis Cup team.
The 2010 Marburg Open was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor red clay courts. It was part of the 2010 ATP Challenger Tour. It took place in Marburg, Germany between 21 and 27 June 2010.

The 2011 Brisbane International was a joint ATP and WTA tennis tournament, played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 3rd edition of the tournament and took place at the Queensland Tennis Centre in Tennyson, Brisbane.
Édouard Roger-Vasselin was the defending champion; however, he lost to Karol Beck in the quarterfinals.
Beck reached the final, but he withdrew before his match against Amer Delić.
Blaž Kavčič was the defending champion, but he lost to Paolo Lorenzi 6–4, 1–6, 4–6 in the quarterfinals.
Rui Machado won in the final against Grega Žemlja 6–3, 6–0.

Defending champion Rafael Nadal defeated Roger Federer in the final, 6–1, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2013 Italian Open. It was his record-extending seventh Italian Open title.
Rafael Nadal defeated John Isner in the final, 7–6(10–8), 7–6(7–3) to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2013 Cincinnati Open. It was his record-extending 26th Masters title.
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga defeated Roger Federer in the final, 7–5, 7–6(7–3) to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2014 Canadian Open. Tsonga became the first man to defeat Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, and Federer in the same tournament since Rafael Nadal at the 2008 Hamburg Masters.

Novak Djokovic defeated Tomáš Berdych in the final, 7–5, 4–6, 6–3 to win the singles tennis title at the 2015 Monte-Carlo Masters. It was his second Monte-Carlo Masters title, and he became the first man to win the first three ATP Tour Masters 1000 titles of the season.

Andy Murray defeated Novak Djokovic in the final, 6–4, 4–6, 6–3, to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2015 Canadian Open. It was Murray's first win against Djokovic since the 2013 Wimbledon final, having lost eight consecutive matches to him in that span.
Alexander Zverev defeated Roger Federer in the final, 6–3, 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2017 Canadian Open. Zverev saved three match points en route to the title, in his second-round match against Richard Gasquet.
