The 2011 BNP Paribas Masters, also known as the Paris Masters , was an ATP World Tour professional men's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the 39th edition of the tournament which was part of the 2011 ATP World Tour. It took place in Paris, France between 7 and 13 November 2011. Third-seeded Roger Federer won the singles title.

Julien Henry Guy Benneteau-Desgrois is a French retired professional tennis player. He achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 25 and doubles ranking of No. 5 in November 2014. Benneteau did not win a singles title, although he finished as runner-up in a record 10 ATP tournaments, including holding a match point in the 2013 Kuala Lumpur final. He reached the quarterfinals of the 2006 French Open and the semifinals of the 2014 Cincinnati Masters and 2017 Paris Masters.

He also finished runner-up at the Wimbledon Championships in both 2016 and 2019, alongside Benneteau and Nicolas Mahut respectively. The 2010 BNP Paribas Masters was a tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the 38th edition of the tournament known that year as the BNP Paribas Masters after the sponsor BNP Paribas. It was part of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 of the 2010 ATP World Tour. It was held at the Palais omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France, from 6 November through 14 November 2010. The top eight seeds were Roger Federer, defending champion Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Robin Söderling, Tomáš Berdych, Fernando Verdasco, David Ferrer and Andy Roddick.

Novak Djokovic defeated defending champion Rafael Nadal in the final, 6–4, 6–1, 1–6, 6–3, to win the gentlemen's singles tennis title at the 2011 Wimbledon Championships. It was his first Wimbledon title and third major title overall. With his loss to Djokovic in the final, Nadal ended his 20-match Wimbledon winning streak dating back to 2008, having missed the 2009 championships due to injury. It was the 107th edition of the annual Monte Carlo Masters tournament, which was sponsored by Rolex for the fifth time. The event was the final professional tennis tournament for French player Paul-Henri Mathieu, who received wildcards into the singles qualifying and doubles draws.

The 2018 Rolex Paris Masters was a professional men's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the 46th edition of the tournament, and part of the World Tour Masters 1000 category of the 2018 ATP World Tour. It took place at the Palais omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France, between 29 October and 4 November 2018.
