The 2011 TAIYEN William Jones Cup was the 33rd tournament of the William Jones Cup that took place at the Hsinchuang Gymnasium in New Taipei, Republic of China (commonly known as Taiwan) from August 6 to 13, 2011. [1]

Men's tournament

Squads

South Africa had committed a week prior to the tournament but withdrew to funding problems. UAE, on the other hand, made their tournament debut. Unlike the previous tournament, which had a round robin tournament format, this year's event features a medal round after the preliminary round robin to determine a champion. [2]

The South Korean national baseball team is the national baseball team of South Korea. Currently, the South Korean men's baseball team is ranked third in the WBSC World Rankings. The R. William Jones Cup, also known as the Jones Cup, is an international basketball tournament organized by the Chinese Taipei Basketball Association (CTBA) held annually since 1977 in Taiwan.

The 2006 IBAF Intercontinental Cup was held in Taichung, Taiwan from November 9 through the 19th. Eight countries contested the tournament, which was played at Taichung Baseball Field and the newly built Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium. The participating countries were Cuba, Australia, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines in addition to the hosts from Chinese Taipei (Taiwan). The tournament was sanctioned by the International Baseball Federation.

Softball at the 2008 Summer Olympics

Softball at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing took place over a ten-day period starting August 12 and culminating in the medal finals on August 21. All games were played at the Fengtai Softball Field. Olympic softball is a women only competition, with men competing in the similar sport of baseball.

Chinese Taipei national baseball team

The Chinese Taipei baseball team is the national team of Taiwan. It is governed by the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association. The team is ranked fourth in the world by the World Baseball Softball Confederation, behind Japan, the United States, and South Korea respectively. The team is usually made up of professionals from Taiwan's Chinese Professional Baseball League, Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball, and Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball from the United States.

The Jordan national basketball team is the official basketball team of Jordan in international competitions and it is one of the top teams in Asia.

Chinese Taipei womens national under-18 ice hockey team

The Chinese Taipei women's national under-18 ice hockey team is the women's national under-18 ice hockey team of Taiwan. The team is controlled by Chinese Taipei Ice Hockey Federation, a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). The team made its international debut in 2018 when they competed in, and won, the 2018 IIHF Women's Challenge Cup of Asia.

2019 Asian Mens Club Volleyball Championship

The 2019 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship will be the tenth edition of the Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship, an annual international volleyball club tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Chinese Taipei Volleyball Association (CTVA). The tournament was held in Taipei, Chinese Taipei, from 18 to 26 April 2019. The winner of this tournament will be qualified to 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship.
