The 2012 International GTSprint Series season was the third year of the International GTSprint Series. The season began at Monza on 1 April and finished at Pergusa on 28 October. Andrea Palma won the championship, driving a Ferrari.

The Coppa Florio was a motorsport race for automobiles first held in Italy in 1900. It was renamed in 1905 when Vincenzo Florio offered the initial 50,000 Lira prize money and a cup designed by Polak of Paris. The cup was to be awarded to the car maker who gained the most wins in the first seven races, beginning with the race held in 1905. The 2000 SportsRacing WORLD CUP was the second season of SportsRacing World Cup, an auto racing series organized by the International Racing Series Ltd. and officially sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile. The series is a continuation of the former International Sports Racing Series which began in 1997. It was open to two categories of sports prototypes, SR and SRL, and awarded driver and team championships in each class. It began on 26 March and ended on 26 November after ten events were held in Europe, the United States of America, and South Africa.

The 1998 International Formula 3000 Championship was the thirty-second season of the second-tier of Formula One feeder championship and also fourteenth season under the International Formula 3000 Championship moniker. The championship was contested over twelve rounds from 11 April to 26 September 1998. The Drivers' Championship was won by Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya of Super Nova Racing, who won four races.

The Autodromo di Pergusa is an automobile and motorcycle circuit that encircles the only Sicilian natural lake, Pergusa Lake. The circuit is also known as Enna-Pergusa, as the lake is located near the city of Enna.

The 2012 Superstars Series season was the ninth year of the Superstars Series, an Italian-based touring car racing series, featuring the ninth edition of the Campionato Italiano Superstars and the sixth year of the International Superstars Series. The season began at Monza on April 1 and finished at Pergusa on October 28, after eighth round. A ninth round was planned at Sentul but it was cancelled.

Centenari Racing SRL, usually referred to as Centenari, was an Italian racing team and chassis constructor company based in Italy, predominantly building sports prototypes. The team were active in international events between 1997 and 2006, having started off in national events in 1991.

The International GTSprint Series was a grand tourer-style sports car racing founded in 2010 by FG Group, led by Maurizio Flammini, and afterwards by Superstars World of Racing SpA, a company managed by the same group. The series born under the name of Superstars GTSprint and took the current name the following year, and was canceled before the 2014 season due to lack of entries.

The 2010 Superstars GTSprint Series season was the first year of the International GTSprint Series. The season began at Monza on 28 March and finished at Vallelunga on 10 October. Alessandro Bonetti and Maurizio Mediani won the championship, driving a Ferrari.

The 2011 International GTSprint Series season was the second year of the International GTSprint Series. The season began at Monza on 10 April and finished at Vallelunga on 9 October. Gaetano Ardagna and Giuseppe Cirò won the championship, driving a Ferrari.

The 2013 International GTSprint Series season was the fourth year of the International GTSprint Series. The season began at Monza on 6 April and finished at Vallelunga on 13 October. Thomas Schöffler won the championship, driving an Audi.

The 2012 Superstars Series Pergusa round was the eighth and final races of the 2012 Superstars Series season. It took place on 28 October at the Autodromo di Pergusa.

The 2020 GT Cup Open Europe is the second season of the GT Cup Open Europe, the grand tourer-style sports car racing series founded by the Spanish GT Sport Organización. It began on 8 August at the Hungaroring and finished on 1 November at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya after five double-header meetings.

The 2020 Coppa Florio or 2020 Coppa Florio Hankook 12 Hours of Sicily was the first running of the Coppa Florio since 1981. It was the fifth round of both the 2020 24H GT Series and the 2020 24H TCE Series, the fourth round of the Europe Series and was held from 9 to 11 October at the Autodromo di Pergusa. It was the first international racing series to take place at the Autodromo di Pergusa since 2012. The race was won by Frédéric Fatien, Jordan Grogor, Mathieu Jaminet and Robert Renauer. Miklas Born and Autorama Motorsport by Wolf-Power Racing secured the TCE Europe Drivers' and Teams' Championship after they won.
