The Yas Marina Circuit is the venue for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke, and is situated on Yas Island, in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Yas Marina was the second of four Formula One tracks in the Middle East, with the first being in Bahrain and subsequent tracks in Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Axcil Ramar Jefferies is a Zimbabwean professional racing driver and senior race instructor at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. He currently holds the Nürburgring Nordschleife lap record in the GT3-class with a time of 7:50.370 which he set in a Konrad Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán GT3.
The 2021 24H GT Series powered by Hankook was the seventh season of the 24H Series with drivers battling for championship points and titles and the twelfth season since Creventic, the organiser and promoter of the series, organised multiple races a year. The races were contested with GT3-spec cars, GT4-spec cars, sports cars and 24H-Specials, like silhouette cars.
The Gulf 12 Hours is a 12-hour annual GT endurance racing event that usually takes place at the Yas Marina Circuit in the United Arab Emirates during the third Sunday of December, except in 2021 when it was held at the Bahrain International Circuit in January. In 2012 and, for the decennial, in 2022, the race was held twice: in January and December. On 29 July 2022, it was announced that Gulf 12 Hours joined the Intercontinental GT Challenge calendar both in 2022 and 2023. The race did not return as part of the IGTC calendar in 2024 after the two-year contract was not extended.
The 2020-21 Gulf 12 Hours was the tenth edition of the Gulf 12 Hours held at Bahrain International Circuit on 9 January 2021. The race was contested with GT3-spec cars and GT4-spec cars. The event promoters were the Driving Force Events (DFE). This edition has been relocated from Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit to Bahrain International Circuit.

The 2022 Asian Le Mans Series was the tenth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's Asian Le Mans Series. It is the fourth 24 Hours of Le Mans-based series created by the ACO, following the American Le Mans Series, the European Le Mans Series and the FIA World Endurance Championship. The four-event season began at the Dubai Autodrome in Dubai on 11 February 2022 and ended at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on 20 February 2022.
The 2022 6 Hours of Abu Dhabi, was the 2nd running of the 6 Hours of Abu Dhabi, an endurance race that took place at the Yas Marina Circuit on 22 January 2022. The race was a non-championship round, as part of the 24H Series.

The 2024–25 Asian Le Mans Series will be the thirteenth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's Asian Le Mans Series. Therefore, the race reverted to a split format, with a break after 8 Hours, as opposed to earlier editions that had the break after 6 Hours. Also returning this year is the 992 Cup class reserved for Porsche 992 GT3 Cup cars.
