2013 Speedway European Championship qualification

The 2013 Speedway European Championship qualification events took place from April 20 to July 6, 2013. [1] There were four final meetings with fifteen permanent riders and one wild cards and two track reserves. The permanent riders were determined in three SEC Semifinal and one SEC Challenge.

Three Semifinals were started with 48 competitors each. The top five winners advanced to the next round.

Only top two riders from one country can qualify to the Chellange. For that reason, Kołodziej, did not qualify. [7]

The final round of qualification – the Grand Prix Challenge – took place on 18 September 2009, in Coventry, England. The Grand Prix Challenge was won by Magnus Zetterström who finished ahead of Chris Holder and former Grand Prix rider Jarosław Hampel. All three riders qualified for the 2010 Grand Prix.

The 2009 Individual European Championship will be the 9th UEM Individual Speedway European Championship season. The final took place on 23 August, 2009 in Tolyatti, Russia. The championship was won by Renat Gafurov (Russia), who beat Andriej Karpov (Ukraine) and Aleš Dryml, Jr. in Run-Off. The defending champion, Matej Žagar, lost in semi-final 3.

The 2009 Individual Speedway Polish Championship was the 2009 version of Individual Speedway Polish Championship organized by the Polish Motor Union (PZM). The defending Champion esd Adam Skórnicki, who finished sixth. The Final took place on 25 July 2009 at MotoArena Toruń in Toruń. The Final was won by Tomasz Gollob, who beat Krzysztof Kasprzak and Janusz Kołodziej. It was eight title for Gollob.

The 2008 Polish Pairs Speedway Championship is the 2009 version of Polish Pairs Speedway Championship organized by the Polish Motor Union (PZM). The Final took place on 10 September 2009 in Leszno, because Unia Leszno was second in 2008 Team Speedway Polish Championship. The championships was won by Falubaz Zielona Góra; former Grand Prix riders Rafał Dobrucki, Grzegorz Walasek and junior Grzegorz Zengota.

The 2010 Individual Speedway Polish Championship was the 2010 version of Individual Speedway Polish Championship organized by the Polish Motor Union (PZM). The Championship was won by Janusz Kołodziej, who beat Krzysztof Kasprzak in the Run-off. Third was Rafał Dobrucki. Kołodziej, who won 2009, 2010 Golden Helmet and 2010 Speedway World Cup was award nomination to the 2011 Speedway Grand Prix. The 2011 FIM Dansk Metal Danish Speedway Grand Prix was the fourth race of the 2011 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on June 11 at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The 2013 Speedway European Championship season was the premiere season of the Speedway European Championship era, and decided the 13th UEM Individual Speedway European Championship. It was the first series under the promotion of One Sport Lts. of Poland.
