The 2014 Balkans Cup was a rugby league football tournament that was held in Serbia between 17 October and 19 October. The winner won the inaugural Balkans Cup Trophy. [1]
Four teams competed in the 2014 event. These teams were: Serbia, Greece, Hungary and Bosnia. [2]
After winning the European Championship C a week before the tournament began, Greece transferred their form to the tournament and were crowned inaugural Balkans Cup winners after defeating Bosnia and then Serbia in the final. [3]

The Greece national rugby league team represents Greece in rugby league. The national team has been participating in international competition since 2003, and have become an affiliate member of the Rugby League International Federation.
The Italy national rugby league team represents Italy in rugby league football. With origins dating back to the 1950s and 1960s, the team has competed regularly in international competitions since 2008, when their current governing body, the Federazione Italiana Rugby League, was formed. They are currently ranked 13th in the RLIF World Rankings.

Serbian Rugby League was reborn on 10 November 2001 after 40 years of non existence due to the Yugoslav Communist dictatorship banning the game in the mid 1960s because they favoured Rugby Union which Croatia was playing at the time. Rugby League was first played in Serbia in 1953.

The 2016 minor premier is Serbia's other big club Red Star Belgrade who defeated Dorcol in the deciding game to claim the minor premiership.
Allan A. Lamport Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium on King Street West in the Liberty Village neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is the home for Canada national rugby league team and Toronto Arrows rugby union team, as well as the current practice field for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. The playing surface of the 9,600 seating capacity stadium is also dually marked for soccer and field hockey. The stadium was named for long-time Toronto politician Allan Lamport, who was associated with sporting activities in the city.
