The 2014 Gold Coast Titans season was the 8th in the club's history. Coached by John Cartwright and co-captained by Greg Bird and Nate Myles, they competed in the NRL's 2014 Telstra Premiership. During the second half of the season Cartwright resigned, and his position as head coach was taken by assistant coach Neil Henry for the remainder of the season. Gold Coast finished the regular season in 14th (out of 16) and failed to qualify the finals for the fourth consecutive year.

Season summary

On 7 January, the Titans released Jamal Idris from the remaining 3 years of his contract so he could return to Sydney to be closer to his family. [1] In a deal between the Titans and the Penrith Panthers, Idris joined the Panthers on a three-year deal and Brad Tighe moved from the Panthers to the Titans. [2]

NRL Auckland Nines

The NRL Auckland Nines is a pre-season rugby league nines competition featuring all 16 NRL clubs. The 2014 competition was played over two days on 15 and 16 February at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand. The Titans featured in Pool Blue and played the Sharks, Knights and Tigers. The Titans failed to qualify for the quarter finals.

An Australia and Italy international as well as a New South Wales State of Origin representative wing turned fullback, he played his entire career with the Roosters, with whom he won the 2002 and 2013 NRL Premierships, before retiring at the conclusion of the club's 2014 campaign. The 2010 Gold Coast Titans season was the 4th in the club's history and they competed in the NRL's 2010 Telstra Premiership. They were coached by John Cartwright and captain by Scott Prince. Gold Coast finishing the regular season 4th and fell just one game short of the Grand Final losing to the Sydney Roosters in the Preliminary Final.

The 2010 NRL season consisted of 26 weekly regular season rounds, starting on 12 March and ending on 5 September, followed by four weeks of play-offs culminating in the grand final on 3 October.

The 2011 NRL season consisted of 26 weekly regular season rounds, which began on 11 March and ended on 4 September, followed by four weeks of the finals series culminating in the grand final on 2 October.

The 2011 Gold Coast Titans season was the 5th in the club's history. They competed in the NRL's 2011 Telstra Premiership coached by John Cartwright and captained by Scott Prince. Gold Coast finished the regular season 16th, failing to make the finals and collecting the wooden spoon for the first time in the club's history.

The 2012 Gold Coast Titans season was the 6th in the club's history. Coached by John Cartwright and captained by Scott Prince they competed in the National Rugby League's 2012 Telstra Premiership. They finished the regular season 11th, failing to make the finals for the second consecutive year. Nate Myles was named the club's player of the year.

The 2016 Gold Coast Titans season was the 10th in the club's history. Coached by Neil Henry and co-captained by Nathan Friend and William Zillman, the Titans are currently competing in the NRL's 2016 Telstra Premiership. They also competed in the 2016 NRL Auckland Nines tournament.
