Bangladesh Football Federation is the governing body that administers the sport of association football in Bangladesh. It is in charge of running the country's men's and women's national teams, as well as the Bangladesh Premier League and various other competitions and tournaments. The BFF was one of founding members of the South Asian Football Federation. It is based at BFF Bhaban, in the Motijheel Thana of the country's capital, Dhaka.

Feni Soccer Club commonly referred to as Feni SC, was a Bangladeshi football club based in Feni. The club exited the professional football league, after suffering relegation from the Bangladesh Championship League, the second-tier, in 2018–19. With the further formation of NoFeL SC in the same district, the club was dissolved in 2019. The 5,000 capacity Shahid Salam Stadium was their home ground.

Bangladesh Police Football Club is an association football team based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The club was founded by Bangladesh Police and formerly East Pakistan Police. The services team had previously played in the First Division Football League in 1998 – then the second tier of football. In recent times, Police FC became champions of the Second Division Football League in 2014 and were directly promoted to the Bangladesh Championship League in 2015. The club gained promotion to Bangladesh Premier League for the very first time in the club's history by becoming champions of the 2018-19 Bangladesh Championship League.
Saif Sporting Club was an association football club based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Founded in 2016, the club competed in the Bangladesh Premier League, the top flight of Bangladeshi football, from 2017 to 2022. On 3 August 2022, the club owners announced that the club will temporarily withdraw from professional football due to insufficient commercial returns from it, days after the end of 2021–22 Bangladesh Premier League. They also finished third in the league, which is the best top-tier league result of the club's history. The club played their homes games at Munshiganj Stadium in their final season.

They clinched the title of the 2017 Bangladesh Championship League, the second tier of the professional football league, in their maiden appearance. The club currently competes in the Bangladesh Premier League, the top flight of Bangladeshi Football. Founded in 2013, the club debuted in Bangladesh Premier League during the 2018–19 season. The club is owned and managed by Bashundhara Group.
NoFel Sporting Club is a football team of Bangladesh, based in Noakhali. The current name NoFeL is an acronym for Noakhali, Feni & Lakhsmipur, which are the three districts the club represents. The club competes in the Bangladesh Championship League, the second tier of Bangladesh football.

The league was delayed and was rescheduled to start from 18 January 2019. Six venues hosted the matches.

The 2019–20 Federation Cup, also known as TVS Federation Cup 2019, was 31st edition of the tournament, the main domestic annual club football competition in Bangladesh organized by Bangladesh Football Federation. The 13 participants will compete for the tournament. The winner of the tournament will earn the slot of playing preliminary round of 2021 AFC Cup.

The 2021–22 Dhaka Senior Division Football League, also known as Bashundhara Group Senior Division Football League for sponsorship reasons or as First Division Football League, was the 6th season of the Dhaka Senior Division League since it was rebranded in 2007. A total of 14 teams competed in the league.
Gopalganj Sporting Club is a Bangladeshi professional football club based in Gopalganj. The club was set compete in the Bangladesh Premier League, the top tier of Bangladeshi football league system, after being promoted from the Bangladesh Championship League in the 2022–23 season. However, on 18 October 2023, the club announced its withdrawal from the league due to financial shortages.
