The 2015 Bangladesh Federation Cup is the 27th edition to be played. It was played between 16 February and 5 March 2015 (originally to start on 19 December 2014). [1] 11 teams from the Bangladesh Premier League along with one invited team will take part in the season's curtain-raiser. [2]

The draw ceremony of the tournament were held at BFF house Motijheel, Dhaka on 12 February 2015.The twelve participants were divided into four groups. Top two teams from each group will enter the quarter-finals.

The 2003 South Asian Football Federation Gold Cup was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh between 10 January 2003 and 20 January 2003. All matches were played at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Originally scheduled to be held between 26 January 2002 and 5 February 2002, the tournament was postponed due to the suspension of Bangladesh Football Federation by FIFA. Afghanistan were not in the draw, but were included in the tournament following the recommendation from AFC to do so. It was also Bhutan's first tournament.

The 2014 AFC Women's Asian Cup qualification saw 16 nations attempt to qualify for the 2014 AFC Women's Asian Cup football competition. The four winners from all groups joined the four automatic qualifiers in the final tournament.
