The 2024 Bangladesh Challenge Cup (known as July Martyrs Challenge Cup for Dedication to martyrs whom was died in Anti-discrimination Students Movement) will be inaugural edition of the Bangladesh Challenge Cup is an annual football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Bangladesh Premier League and Federation Cup competitions. Bangladesh Police Football Club is an association football team based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The club was founded by Bangladesh Police and formerly East Pakistan Police. The services team had previously played in the First Division Football League in 1998 – then the second tier of football. In recent times, Police FC became champions of the Second Division Football League in 2014 and were directly promoted to the Bangladesh Championship League in 2015. The club gained promotion to Bangladesh Premier League for the first time in the club's history by becoming champions of the 2018-19 Bangladesh Championship League.

The 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League was the 11th season of the Bangladesh Premier League since its establishment in 2007. A total of 13 football clubs competed in the league. The 2019–20 season was the Chittagong Abahani's 40th season since its establishment in 1980 and their 10th season in the Bangladesh Premier League. This also remarked their sixth consecutive season in the top flight after getting promoted in 2014. In addition to domestic league, Ctg Abahani also participated on this season's edition of Federation Cup.

The 2019–20 season was Bangladesh Police Football Club's first-ever season in the top flight, Bangladesh Premier League.

The 2024–25 Federation Cup will be the 36th edition of the tournament, the main domestic annual top-tier club football competition in Bangladesh organized by Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). Ten participants will participate in the tournament. It will be played from 15 October 2024 to TBC May 2025.
