The 2011 FIBA Asia Championship for Men is the intercontinental championship for basketball organized by FIBA Asia that doubles as a qualifying tournament for the men's basketball tournament of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England, United Kingdom. 2017 SABA Championship

The 2017 SABA Championship is the 6th SABA Championship, and the qualifying event in the SABA sub-zone, one of the FIBA Asia's subzone for the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup and 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup Asian Qualifiers. The games were held from 19 to 23 May in Malé, Maldives. India successfully defended their SABA crown after sweeping the whole tournament. With this win, they qualified for the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup and the first round of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup Asian Qualifiers. The tournament followed a single round robin format.

Qualification for the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup was held to determine the sixteen participants in this FIBA Asia Cup.

Princepal Singh Bajwa is an Indian professional basketball player for the NBA G League Ignite of the NBA G League. Listed at 6 feet 9 inches (2.06 m) and 221 pounds (100 kg), he plays the power forward and center position. His favorite player is Anthony Davis as both have the same height and his skill on-court - shooting, rebound and his speed is great.
