The 2014 International Gymnix competition was a competition held in Montreal, Canada in early March 2014 [1] [2] (from March 6 to March 9). [3] [4] It was the 23rd edition of the International Gymnix. The nations that had placed in the top 16 places in the 2011 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were invited to the tournament, with Belgium, Italy, Romania and Russia joining it. The Junior International Cup was open to athletes born between 1999 and 2001. [5] Russia won the team event. [6] Kirsten Peterman placed third on vault after her 2013 win, [7] while Angelina Melnikova won her first international medal, placing second on all-around in the Junior Cup. [6]

She previously represented Russia at the 2016 Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal in the team competition. She was also a member of the gold medal-winning Russian teams at the 2016 and 2018 European Championships, and the silver medal-winning Russian teams at the 2018 and 2019 World Championships.

Anastasia Andreyevna Ilyankova is a Russian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic silver medalist, the 2019 European champion, and the 2019 and 2020 Russian champion on the uneven bars. She is a four-time FIG World Cup, and she finished fourth on the uneven bars at the 2017 World Championships.

Angelina Alekseevna Simakova is a retired Russian artistic gymnast. She resides in Obninsk, Russia, and is coached by Irina Kolobova. Internationally, she was a member of the Russian teams that won gold at the 2018 European Championships and silver at the 2018 World Championships.

Varvara Andreevna Zubova is a Russian artistic gymnast and a former member of Russia’s national gymnastics team. She resides in Moscow, Moscow Region, Russia, and is coached by Elena Kuznetsova.

Shallon Jade Olsen is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 World silver medalist and 2018 Commonwealth Games champion on vault. She is also the 2018 Commonwealth Games floor exercise bronze medalist and the 2019 Pan American Games vault bronze medalist. She was a member of the Canadian team that won the gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games. She is also the 2016 Pacific Rim vault champion, team silver medalist, and floor exercise bronze medalist. She represented Canada at the 2016 Olympics where she was the youngest member of the Canadian Olympic team and at the 2020 Olympic Games. Additionally, she currently competes for the University of Alabama gymnastics team, and she helped the Crimson Tide win the 2021 SEC Championships.

Irina Nikolayevna Alexeeva or Alekseeva is a Russian artistic gymnast and a former member of the Russian National Team. She was part of the teams that won the gold medal at the 2018 European Championships and the silver medal at the 2018 World Championships.

The International Gymnix is a major international annual gymnastics competition. It is held in Montreal, Canada, with a senior and a junior tournaments. It was organized for the first time in 1991. It is the largest international gymnastics competition of Canada. The tournament brings together some of the best gymnasts in the world, including the Canadian elite.

Kirsten Peterman is a retired Canadian artistic gymnast. Currently Academic Advisor for Football at the Louisiana State University (LSU), Baton Rouge, LA.
