The 2014 TCU Horned Frogs football team represented Texas Christian University (TCU) in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Playing as a member of the Big 12 Conference (Big 12), the team was led by head coach Gary Patterson, in his 14th year, and played its home games at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. They finished the season 12–1, 8–1 in Big 12 play to finish as co-champions. [1] They were invited to the Peach Bowl where they defeated Ole Miss.

Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena, formerly known as Daniel–Meyer Coliseum, is a basketball arena located on the campus of Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The arena is part of the Daniel-Meyer Athletics Complex and sits between Amon G. Carter Stadium and Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility. The arena is home to the TCU Horned Frogs Men's and Women's basketball teams. It was built in 1961 and originally named after former TCU football and basketball coach Dutch Meyer and former TCU board member Milton Daniel. As part of the 2015 renovation, the facility was renamed for lead donors Ed & Rae Schollmaier. The facility currently seats 8,500 people.
Gary Allen Patterson is an American college football coach and former player. He was most recently the special assistant to the head coach at the University of Texas. He is the former head football coach at Texas Christian University and the coach with the most wins in Horned Frogs' history. Patterson led the TCU Horned Frogs to six conference championships and eleven bowl game victories, including victories in the 2011 Rose Bowl and 2014 Peach Bowl. His 2010 squad finished the season undefeated at 13–0 after a 21–19 Rose Bowl victory over the Wisconsin Badgers on New Year's Day 2011, and ranked second in the final tallying of both major polls.
The TCU Horned Frogs are the athletic teams that represent Texas Christian University. The 18 varsity teams participate in NCAA Division I and in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) for football, competing mostly in the Big 12 Conference. The school was a founding member of the Southwest Conference and was a member of the Western Athletic Conference, Conference USA (CUSA), and the Mountain West Conference before joining the Big 12. Two TCU teams participate outside the Big 12 in sports not sponsored by that conference. The rifle team competes in the Patriot Rifle Conference, and the beach volleyball team moved to CUSA for 2023–24 after having been in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association.

They finished the season 11–2, 7–0 in Mountain West play to win their third straight conference championship. They were invited to the Poinsettia Bowl, where they defeated Western Athletic Conference champion Louisiana Tech, 31–24.
The Baylor–TCU football rivalry, known as The Bluebonnet Battle and informally as The Revivalry, is an American college football rivalry between the Baylor Bears and TCU Horned Frogs. The first game of the 120-game series was played in 1899, making the rivalry one of the oldest and most played in FBS college football. After 120 meetings, the series is the most-played college rivalry in the State of Texas.

Some early season, non-conference games were played in the TCU University Recreation Center and the Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center while construction on Schollmaier Arena was completed. The Horned Frogs finished the season 12–21, 2–16 in Big 12 play to finish in last place. They defeated Texas Tech in the first round of the Big 12 tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to West Virginia.

Prior to the Arena's opening, the Horned Frogs played early-season non-conference games in the TCU University Recreation Center.

The Horned Frogs were led by 16th-year head coach Gary Patterson, the winningest coach in TCU football history. They finished the season 6–7, 4–5 in Big 12 play to finish in fifth place. They were invited to the Liberty Bowl where they lost to Georgia.
The 2017–18 TCU Horned Frogs women's basketball team represented Texas Christian University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The 2017–18 season was head coach Raegan Pebley's fourth season at TCU. The Horned Frogs were members of the Big 12 Conference and played their home games in Schollmaier Arena. This season TCU got back in the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2010. They finished the season 23–13, 9–9 in Big 12 play to finish in fifth place. They advanced to the semifinals of the Big 12 women's tournament where they lost to Baylor. They received an at-large bid to the Women's National Invitation Tournament where they defeated Lamar, Missouri State and New Mexico in the first, second and third rounds, and then South Dakota in the quarterfinals before losing to Indiana in the semifinals.

The 2022 TCU Horned Frogs football team represented Texas Christian University in the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Horned Frogs played their home games at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas, and competed in the Big 12 Conference. They were led by first-year head coach Sonny Dykes. TCU compiled a perfect 12–0 regular season record; its first undefeated regular season since 2010. After an overtime loss in the 2022 Big 12 Championship Game against Kansas State by a score of 31–28, TCU was selected as the third seed in the four-team College Football Playoff. In the semifinal round, TCU beat #2 Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl. They defeated Michigan by a score of 51–45, becoming the first Big 12 team to win a College Football Playoff game as well as make the CFP National Championship game. TCU lost the National Championship game to the Georgia Bulldogs by a score of 65–7 and finished the season ranked #2 in both the AP and Coaches Polls.
