The 2016 KBS Entertainment Awards took place on December 24, 2016. The main ceremony was hosted by Lee Hwi-jae, Yoo Hee-yeol and Hyeri (Girl's Day), and the red carpet was hosted by Jeon So-mi and Choi Yoo-jung of I.O.I. The ceremony was televised live on KBS.

The KBS Entertainment Awards is an event held yearly and is sponsored by KBS. The awards ceremony is approximately 140 minutes long and is shown in two parts on KBS2. The ceremony features performances by K-pop artists and music parodies from Gag Concert members. This event is held at the end of each year, except in 2017, the Entertainment Awards were not held due to the KBS Variety Director Strike.

Lee Hwi-jae is a South Korean TV presenter, comedian, actor, and singer. Lee studied theater at the Seoul Institute of the Arts, then made his TV debut in 1992 as a comedian after working as a floor director for MBC's entertainment program Sunday, Sunday Night. He shot to stardom in the program Life Theater. Since then, he has expanded his career to hosting variety shows such as Sang Sang Plus, Sponge and Quiz to Change the World. He was the third highest-paid entertainer at MBC in 2008, earning ₩574.5 million.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Jang Hyun-sung</span> South Korean actor (born 1970)

Jang Hyun-sung is a South Korean actor. He started his acting career as a member of the Hakjeon Theatre Company, before transitioning to film and television. Jang is best known for starring in director Song Il-gon's arthouse films such as Spider Forest (2004) and The Magicians (2006), and most notably Feathers in the Wind (2005), for which one review praised him for giving "the performance of his career." He also had major roles in Nabi (2001), Rewind, My Right to Ravage Myself (2005), Love Is a Crazy Thing (2005), and My Friend and His Wife (2008). Aside from acting, Jang was one of the screenwriters for the Moon Seung-wook film Romance (2006).

Kwon Se-in, better known by the stage name Kwon Yul, is a South Korean actor. He made his acting debut with a leading role in the 2007 high school sitcom Mackerel Run. Kwon is best known for his roles as Seo Ji-seok on the daily soap opera Angel's Revenge (2014), Yi Hoe in the blockbuster period film The Admiral: Roaring Currents (2014), and as Lee Sang-woo in the hit romantic comedy series Let's Eat 2 (2015).

The 2012 KBS Drama Awards is a ceremony honoring the outstanding achievement in television on the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) network for the year of 2012. It was held on December 31, 2012 and hosted by actors Yoo Jun-sang, Lee Jong-suk and actress Youn Yuh-jung.

Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend, also known as Immortal Songs 2, is a South Korean television music competition program presented by Shin Dong-yup. It is a revival of Immortal Songs (2007–2009), and each episode features singers who perform their reinterpreted versions of songs.

The 2017 KBS Drama Awards, presented by Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), was held on December 31, 2017 at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. It was hosted by Park Soo-hong, Lee Yoo-ri and Namkoong Min.

The 2021 MBC Entertainment Awards presented by Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), took place on December 29, 2021, at MBC Public Hall in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. It was hosted by Jun Hyun-moo, Lee Sang-yi and Kim Se-jeong, and aired on December 29, 2021, at 20.45 (KST). Yoo Jae-suk won the Grand Prize for Hangout with Yoo for second year in a row.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2022 KBS Entertainment Awards</span> South Korean annual entertainment awards

The 2022 KBS Entertainment Awards presented by Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), took place on December 24, 2022, at KBS New Wing Open Hall in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The 20th anniversary ceremony was opened with a special performance that looks back on the past KBS entertainment and covers it all. The awards ceremony was broadcast live at KBS Hall at 21.15 (KST). It was hosted by Seol In-ah, Moon Se-yoon and Kang Chan-hee.
