Karatsev became the second wildcard in the tournament's history to win the men's singles title. Harris was the first qualifier to reach the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships.

Marin Čilić defeated Félix Auger-Aliassime in the final, 7–6(7–2), 6–3 to win the singles tennis title at the 2021 Stuttgart Open. It was Čilić's 19th career ATP Tour singles title, his first in three years, and he did not drop a set en route to the victory. The No. 47-ranked, 32-year-old Čilić also became the lowest-ranked winner since Juan Carlos Ferrero in 2011 and the third-oldest champion in tournament history. Defending finalist Auger-Aliassime was contesting for his first career singles title in his eighth final.

Matteo Berrettini defeated Cameron Norrie in the final, 6–4, 6–7(5–7), 6–3, to win the singles tennis title at the 2021 Queen's Club Championships. Berrettini's win earned him his fourth career ATP Tour singles title, his first ATP 500 victory, and also made him the first player to win the tournament on their main draw debut since Boris Becker in 1985. Norrie was contesting for his first title in his fourth career final.

Alexander Zverev defeated Andrey Rublev in the final, 6–2, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Cincinnati Masters. It was his fifth Masters 1000 title and 17th career singles title on the ATP Tour.

Aslan Karatsev defeated Andy Murray in the final, 6–3, 6–3 to win the men's singles title at the 2022 Sydney Tennis Classic. This was Murray's first ATP final since he won the 2019 European Open.

Carlos Alcaraz defeated Pablo Carreño Busta in the final, 6–3, 6–2 to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Barcelona Open. Alcaraz saved two match points en route to the title, in the semifinals against Alex de Minaur. With the win, Alcaraz entered the top 10 in rankings for the first time in his career, becoming the youngest man to do so since Rafael Nadal in 2005.

Nick Kyrgios defeated Yoshihito Nishioka in the final, 6–4, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2022 Washington Open. It was his second Washington title, following 2019. Kyrgios saved five match points en route to the title, in the quarterfinals against Frances Tiafoe. He also did not drop serve during the tournament.

Taylor Fritz defeated Frances Tiafoe in the final, 7–6(7–3), 7–6(7–2) to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Japan Open.

Holger Rune defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Stockholm Open. It was his second career ATP Tour singles title.
