The 2017 Lotto Warsaw FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland was the second race of the 2017 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on May 13th at the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland. [1]

The 2017 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 23rd season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 72nd FIM Speedway World Championship. It was seventeenth series under the promotion of Benfield Sports International, an IMG company.

The Speedway Grand Prix Commission nominated Przemysław Pawlicki as the wild card, and Krystian Pieszczek and Paweł Przedpełski both as Track Reserves.

The Grand Prix was won by Fredrik Lindgren, who beat Maciej Janowski, Jason Doyle and Martin Vaculík in the final. [2] It was the second Grand Prix win of Lindgren's career, and was a result that took him to the top of the overall championship standings - 5 points clear of Doyle.

Jan Fredrik Tobias (Freddie) Lindgren is a Swedish motorcycle speedway rider who rides in the UK for the Wolverhampton Wolves in the Elite League. As of the 2008 season, Freddie was awarded with the captaincy role, previously held by fellow Swede Peter Karlsson.

Maciej Janowski is a Polish speedway rider who is a member of Poland U-21 and U-19 national teams. He is current Team U-21 World Champion and Team U-19 European Champion.

Jason Doyle Australian speedway rider

Jason Kevin Doyle is an Australian motorcycle speedway rider. He became World Champion in 2017. He won the 2015 Australian Solo Championship. He has also won the South Australian Championship in 2014, and the Elite League Riders' Championship and the Master of Speedway meeting in Germany in 2015.
