The 2017 TCR International Series Hungaroring round was the sixth round of the 2017 TCR International Series season. It took place on 18 June at the Hungaroring.
Attila Tassi won both races starting from third position in Race 1 and eighth position in Race 2, driving a Honda Civic Type-R TCR.
Due to the results obtained in the previous round, Stefano Comini received +30 kilograms (66 lb), Dušan Borković +20 kilograms (44 lb) and both Roberto Colciago and Thomas Jäger +10 kilograms (22 lb). Nevertheless, Jäger didn't take part at this event, so he didn't take the ballast. [1]
The Balance of Performance was also adjusted for this event, meaning the Honda Civic Type-R TCRs was given an additional +10 kilograms (22 lb), having already had +30 kilograms (66 lb), in addition to its minimum weight of 1,285 kilograms (2,833 lb). The SEAT León TCRs and Volkswagen Golf GTI TCRs was also given a weight break, going down -10 kg. [2]

The 2015 TCR International Series Red Bull Ring round was the eighth round of the 2015 TCR International Series season. It took place on 12 July at the Red Bull Ring. This round was to be held at Autódromo Juan y Oscar Gálvez on 26 July, but it was later moved due to organisational problems.

The 2018 FIA World Touring Car Cup was the inaugural season of the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR). It took over from the World Touring Car Championship and adopted the TCR technical regulations. It was also the 14th overall season of the series that dates from the 2005 World Touring Car Championship. The change of name and new rules follow the declining interest in the TC1 regulations used by the World Touring Car Championship between 2014 and 2017 and the growing interest among manufacturers in the TCR touring car category.
