Rafael Nadal defeated the defending champion Novak Djokovic in the final, 7–5, 1–6, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Italian Open. It was his record-extending tenth Italian Open title and record-equaling 36th Masters 1000 title overall. Nadal saved two match points en route to the title, in his third round match against Denis Shapovalov. This marked the fourth tournament that Nadal had won on 10 or more occasions, making him the only tennis player to do so.

Defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the final, 6–3, 7–6(7–3) to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Monte-Carlo Masters. He became the sixth player to win consecutive titles at the Monte-Carlo Masters in the Open Era. The win also earned him his second Masters 1000 title and his eighth career singles title overall.

Sebastián Báez defeated Frances Tiafoe in the final, 6–3, 6–2 to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Estoril Open. It was his maiden ATP Tour title.

Andrey Rublev defeated Sebastian Korda in the final, 6–2, 6–3 to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Gijón Open. It was his 12th ATP Tour singles title.

Kwon Soon-woo defeated Roberto Bautista Agut in the final, 6–4, 3–6, 7–6(7–4) to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 Adelaide International 2. It was his second ATP Tour singles title, and he became just the tenth man in ATP Tour history to win a title as a lucky loser.

Daniil Medvedev defeated Andy Murray in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2023 ATP Qatar Open. It was his second ATP Tour title in as many weeks. En route to the final, Murray saved eight match points - three in his first-round match against Lorenzo Sonego and five in the semifinals against Jiří Lehečka.

Alexander Zverev defeated Laslo Djere in the final, 7–5, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 Hamburg European Open in his hometown of Hamburg.

Jannik Sinner defeated Grigor Dimitrov in the final, 6–3, 6–1 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2024 Miami Open. It was his second ATP Masters 1000 title and 13th career ATP Tour title. Sinner became the first Italian singles player, male or female, to win the Miami Open. With the win, Sinner achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 2, being the first Italian player of either gender to do so. Sinner became the first player to reach at least the quarterfinals in his first four appearances at the Miami Open since Stefan Edberg in 1991. Aged 22, Sinner also became the youngest player to reach three Miami finals, after two previous finals in 2021 and 2023.
