The 2018 FIBA U16 European Championship Division B was the 15th edition of the Division B of the FIBA U16 European Championship. It was played in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 9 to 18 August 2018. [1] 24 teams participated in the competition. Russia men's national under-16 basketball team won the tournament.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-16 and under-17 basketball team is the national representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina in international under-18 and under-19 basketball competitions. They are organized by the Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The team competes at the FIBA U16 European Championship, with the opportunity to qualify for the FIBA Under-17 World Cup.
The 2016 FIBA U16 European Championship was the 30th edition of the European Under-16 Basketball Championship. Sixteen teams participated in the competition, held in Radom, Poland, from 12 to 20 August 2016. Bosnia and Herzegovina, the defending champions, were relegated to the 2017 Division B.
The 2017 FIBA U16 European Championship Division B was played in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 10 to 19 August 2017. 24 teams participated in the competition. Greece won the competition without losing a single game and won the promotion to Division A. Netherlands and Georgia also gained promotion.
