The 2018 FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship was the ninth CEV Moto2 season and the fourth under the FIM banner.

The 2005 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season was the 57th F.I.M. Road racing World Championship season. The season consisted out of 17 races for the MotoGP class and 16 for the 125cc and 250cc classes, beginning with the Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix on 10 April and ending with the Valencian Community motorcycle Grand Prix on 6 November.
The 2006 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season was the 58th Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Road racing World Championship season. The season consisted out of 17 races for the MotoGP class and 16 for the 125cc and 250cc classes, beginning with the Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix on 26 March 2006 and ending with the Valencian Community motorcycle Grand Prix on 29 October.
Alessandro "Sandro" Cortese is a former German motorcycle racer, who last competed in 2020 World Superbike Championship for Team Pedercini. Cortese won his first world title in the Moto3 class, in 2012., and his second in the Supersport World Championship, in 2018. He lives in Berkheim, Germany.
Ana Carrasco Gabarrón is a Spanish motorcycle racer, who is contracted to ride in Moto3 during 2022 on a KTM. She won the 2018 Supersport 300 World Championship riding a Kawasaki Ninja 400 with the David Salom Junior Team, becoming the first woman in history to win a World Championship in solo motorcycle road racing.
The 2014 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 66th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Maverick Viñales was the reigning series champion, but did not contest the season as he moved to the series' intermediate class, Moto2.
The 2015 FIM Moto2 World Championship was a part of the 67th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Marc VDS Racing Team rider Tito Rabat started the season as the defending riders' champion, having won his first championship title in 2014.
The 2016 FIM Moto2 World Championship was a part of the 68th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. The season was marred by the death of Luis Salom during a free practice session, at the Catalan Grand Prix.
Xavier Vierge Zafra is a Spanish motorcycle racer, contracted to race for Honda Racing Corporation in the 2022 Superbike World Championship.
Jesko Raffin is a Swiss motorcycle racer. He was the FIM CEV Moto2 champion in 2014 and 2018.
The 2018 FIM Moto2 World Championship was a part of the 70th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Franco Morbidelli was the reigning series champion, but he did not defend his title as he moved to the MotoGP class.
The 2019 FIM Moto2 World Championship was a part of the 71st F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Francesco Bagnaia was the reigning series champion but he was unable to defend his title as he joined the series' premier class, the MotoGP.
The 2018 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship was the seventh CEV Moto3 season and the fifth under the FIM banner.
Lukas Tulovic is a German Grand Prix motorcycle racer. In 2021 he competed in the Enel MotoE World Cup, aboard an Energica Ego Corsa.
Filip Salač is a Czech motorcycle rider, competing in the 2023 Moto2 World Championship for QJmotor Gresini Moto2.

Carlos Tatay is a Spanish motorcycle rider who is scheduled to compete in the 2023 FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship for the Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team. He previously competed in the Moto3 class in the motorcycle world championship with Prüstel GP and is also a previous winer of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, having won the title in 2019.
Sic58 Squadra Corse is an Italian motorcycle racing team founded by Paolo Simoncelli in honour of his son, Marco Simoncelli (1987–2011). The team competes in the Moto3 World Championship and MotoE World Cup under the name Ongetta Sic58 Squadracorse, and the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship and European Talent Cup.
FIM JuniorGP World Championship is a junior class race event organized by Dorna Sports under FIM regulations. It runs under Moto3 regulations and acts as an Moto3 World Championship feeder. This class is restricted to single-cylinder 250 cc four-stroke engines with a maximum bore of 81 mm. The minimum total weight for motorcycle and rider is 148 kg (326 lb).
FIM Moto2 European Championship is a motorcycle racing competition intended for young racers in Europe. This competition is organized by Dorna, which also runs the competition MotoGP, and Superbike World Championship.
