The 2018 Global Awards ceremony was held on Thursday, 1 March 2018 at London's Eventim Apollo. It started at 7:30 pm and was shown live on Capital TV and Heart TV. It was also available to watch on the Capital FM Website, on all the socials and on the radio. The Capital FM Global Awards radio schedule was as follows: Backstage on Capital Drive Time from 4pm GMT until 7pm GMT and then JJ, live from backstage from 7pm GMT chatting to the guests. [1]

Myleene Angela Klass is a British singer, presenter, musician, model and businesswoman. She was a member of the pop group Hear'Say, and later released two solo classical crossover albums in 2003 and 2007. More recently, Klass has been a television and radio presenter. She has hosted television series including Popstar to Operastar (2010–2011) and BBQ Champ (2015) on ITV and The One Show (2007) on BBC One. She was briefly a regular panellist on the ITV lunchtime chat show Loose Women in 2014.

The Jingle Bell Ball is a concert held every year in December, by the radio station Capital FM at The O2. Artists that have headlined the concert include Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Little Mix, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, The Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Stormzy, Lady Gaga, Girls Aloud, Kylie Minogue and Janet Jackson. A portion of ticket sales profit is donated to Global's Make Some Noise, Capital's flagship charity, formerly known as Help a Capital Child and Help a London Child.
The Summertime Ball is a mini-festival in London, held each first/second Saturday or Sunday of June by the radio station Capital. The first ball was at Emirates Stadium in 2009, and it has since been held at Wembley Stadium. The 2020 Summertime Ball was to be held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium because Wembley was due to host games of the UEFA Euros, but both events were ultimately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is promoted and broadcast by the Capital network. There have been five different sponsors since its first event. From 2012 until 2018, Vodafone UK was the sponsor. In 2009, Barclaycard sponsored the ball. In 2010 ASOS.com sponsored the event, with Starbucks sponsoring the event in 2011 and Apple Music sponsoring the event in 2019.

Liam James Payne is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction. Payne made his debut as a singer in 2008 when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor. After being eliminated in the competition, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction, which went on to become one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. Payne worked with other producers under the monikers "Big Payno" and "Payno" creating remixes for songs by his group and Cheryl.

She also presents Crufts on Channel 4, Carnage on Sky One, Trending Live on 4Music, Life Hacks and Going Home with Vick and Jordan on BBC Radio 1, FYI Daily on ITV2 and became the backstage presenter for ITV's The X Factor in 2019, after becoming the digital reporter for The Voice UK in 2018. In 2020, she became the red carpet host of 2020 BAFTA Film Awards. In October 2020, it was announced that Hope would host a new ITV Hub sister show entitled I'm a Celebrity...The Daily Drop.

On 26 November 2018, Jack Whitehall was announced as the host for the second year running. Sir David Adjaye was announced as the official designer of the BRIT statuette. In December 2018, it was announced that BBC Radio 1, Live Lounge and Top of the Pops host Clara Amfo hosted the BRITs Are Coming Nominations Launch Show on 12 January 2019. Clara Amfo and Alice Levine was live from the Red Carpet before the Main Show on ITV2.
