The 2018 Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem was a women's professional tennis tournament played on clay courts. It was the 18th edition of the tournament and part of the WTA International tournaments category of the 2018 WTA Tour. It took place in Rabat, Morocco, between 30 April and 5 May 2018.

Madison Keys was the defending champion, but withdrew due to a wrist injury.

Petra Kvitová was the defending champion, but chose not to participate.

Elina Svitolina was the two-time defending champion, but lost in the semifinals to Belinda Bencic.

Kiki Bertens was the defending champion, but lost in the third round to Maria Sakkari.

The singles tournament at the 2019 WTA 250 Ladies Open Lugano in tennis was played on clay and contested between 50 women on 8 — 14 April 2019. Elise Mertens was defending champion, but abstained.

Paula Badosa defeated Victoria Azarenka in the final, 7–6(7–5), 2–6, 7–6(7–2), to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2021 Indian Wells Masters. At three hours and four minutes, the final was the longest women's final contested at Indian Wells. By winning the title, Badosa became the first Spanish woman to win the tournament. This was her first WTA 1000 title and her second career WTA singles title overall. Azarenka was aiming to become the first woman to win the title at Indian Wells three times.

This was the first edition of the event.

Iga Świątek won the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Indian Wells Masters, defeating Maria Sakkari in the final, 6–4, 6–1. Świątek became the first Polish player to win a title at Indian Wells, and also rose to a career-high ranking of No. 2 in the world by winning the title.
