The 2018 Italian GT Championship was the 27th season of the Italian GT Championship, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded by the Italian automobile club (ACI). The Championship consisted of seven Sprint race events. At each event there were held two races. The Season started on 27 April in Imola and ended on 28 October in Mugello.

The Italian GT Championship is an Italian sports car series founded in 2003 and organized by the Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI) and the Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana (CSAI). It replaced a previous supercar-based championship which ran from 1992 until 2002 when it was folded due to a lack of entrants. The series borrowed heavily from the international FIA GT Championship in its first few seasons, although additional entries from Ferrari Challenge, Porsche Supercup, and Maserati Trofeo competitors were allowed.

The 2010 Formula Abarth season was the sixth season of the former Formula Azzurra, and the first under its new guise of "Formula Abarth". It started on April 24 at Misano and finished on October 14 in Monza after fourteen races held at seven meetings.

The 2014 Italian F4 Championship was the inaugural season of the Italian F4 Championship, as it replaces Formula Abarth. It began on 8 June in Adria and finished on 12 October in Imola after seven triple header rounds.

The 2016 Italian F4 Championship was the third season of the Italian F4 Championship. It began on 9 April in Misano and finished on 30 October in Monza after seven rounds.

The 2016 Italian GT Championship was the 25th season of the Italian GT Championship, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded by the Italian automobile club. The season started on 30 April 2016 at Monza and ended on 16 October 2016 at Mugello after seven double-header meetings.

The 2017 Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth was the fourth season of the Italian F4 Championship. It began on 2 April at Misano and finished on 22 October at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza after seven triple header rounds.

The 2019 Formula Regional European Championship was a multi-event, Formula 3 open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held across Europe. The championship features a mix of professional and amateur drivers, competing in Formula 3 cars that conform to the FIA Formula 3 regulations for the championship. In the inaugural season of the championship, Frederik Vesti was the drivers' champion.

The 2019 Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth was the sixth season of the Italian F4 Championship. Norwegian driver Dennis Hauger dominated the championship, winning twelve out of the 21 races, helping his team Van Amersfoort Racing to become teams' champions. The rookie championship was won by Mercedes junior Paul Aron, who won two races in the overall championship. Hauger's closest challenger Gianluca Petecof won four races, and Roman Staněk, Joshua Dürksen and Giorgio Carrara won one race each.

Alessandro Giardelli is an Italian professional racing driver he is vice champion of the 2021 Porsche Carrera Cup Italy and champion of the Porsche Young Driver Programme in his first season as a rookie. And also competed in the Porsche Supercup, which takes place on the same weekends as Formula 1. He was champion of the Karting Italian Championship, Giardelli is the Youngest driver ever to race in the KZ1 top karting category in Karting World Championship in 2017 at only 14 years old.

Leonardo Fornaroli, also known as Leo Fornaroli, is an Italian racing driver who is set to compete in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Rodin Motorsport, before competing in the series full-time in 2025 with Invicta Racing. Fornaroli won the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship in his second year with Trident, and was the first champion in the sport's history to not win a single race in both his championship-winning campaign and his entire Formula 3 career. He is also the 2022 Formula Regional European rookie champion.

The 2024 Zinox Laser F2000 Italian Formula Trophy was a multi-event open-wheel single seater motor racing championship. This was the eleventh season of the series, featuring a mix of professional and amateur drivers competing in different classes and using multiple kinds of Formula 3- and Formula Renault-level machinery. The championship continued its cooperation with the Drexler-Automotive Formula Cup, with the two series sharing grids and race slots on multiple race weekends.

The 2024 Italian GT Championship was the 33rd season of the Italian GT Championship, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded by the Italian Automobile Club. The season started on 4 May at Misano and ended on 27 October at Monza. Similar to the GT World Challenge Europe, the Italian GT Championship was split into two, the Sprint and the Endurance Championships. New for 2024 was the separation of the GT Cup field into two different divisions, Division 1 for Ferrari Challenge and Lamborghini Super Trofeo cars and Division 2 for Porsche Carrera Cup Cars.
