The 2019 season is Albirex Niigata Singapore FC's 16th consecutive season in the top flight of Singapore football [1] [2] and in the S.League, having joined the Sleague in 2004. Along with the 2019 Singapore Premier League, the club will also compete in Singapore Cup and the Singapore League Cup. They are the defending champions in 2018. [3]

The 2015 S.League was the 20th season since the establishment of the S.League, the top-flight Singaporean professional league for association football clubs. The league was also known as the Great Eastern Yeo's S.League due to sponsorship reasons. Warriors FC were the defending champions.
