Defending champion Roger Federer defeated Mardy Fish in the final, 6–7(5–7), 7–6(7–1), 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2010 Cincinnati Masters. It was his fourth Cincinnati Masters title, his record-equaling 17th Masters title overall, and his 63rd career title overall.
Geoffrey Blancaneaux won the title, defeating Félix Auger-Aliassime in the final, 1–6, 6–3, 8–6. He saved three championship points and became the first French player to win the junior title since Gaël Monfils in 2004.

Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos defeated Nikola Mektić and Mate Pavić in the final, 1–6, 6–3, [10–8], to win the men's doubles tennis title at the 2021 Madrid Open. It was the third-seeded duo's third ATP Tour Masters 1000 doubles title together. Mektić and Pavić were contending to be the first doubles team in five years to win a season's first three Masters 1000 events.
Rafael Nadal defeated the defending champion Novak Djokovic in the final, 7–5, 1–6, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Italian Open. It was his record-extending tenth Italian Open title and record-equaling 36th and final Masters 1000 title overall. Nadal saved two match points en route to the title, in his third round match against Denis Shapovalov. This marked the fourth tournament that Nadal had won on 10 or more occasions, making him the only tennis player to do so.
