The 2019 Thai FA Cup is the 24th season of a Thailand's knockout football competition. It was sponsored by Chang, and known as the Chang FA Cup for sponsorship purposes. The tournament is organized by the Football Association of Thailand. 100 clubs were accepted into the tournament, and it began with the qualification round on 27 March 2019, and concluded with the final on 2 November 2019. The 2020–21 season is Buriram United's 9th season in the Thai League. The club will enters the season as the Thai League runners-up, and will participate in the top-level league. They will also participate in two domestic cups, FA and League Cup, and continental cup, AFC Champions League, which they will start at preliminary round 2 for the first time since 2013 season.

2020–21 Thai FA Cup football tournament season

The 2020–21 Thai FA Cup is the 25th season of a Thailand's knockout football competition, this season is the 50th anniversary since its establishment in 1970. The tournament was sponsored by Chang, and known as the Chang FA Cup for sponsorship purposes. The tournament is organized by the Football Association of Thailand. 91 clubs were accepted into the tournament, and it began with the qualification round on 30 September 2020, and concluded with the final on TBD. The winner would have qualified for the 2021 Thailand Champions Cup.

The 2020–21 Thai League 3 Northeastern region is a region in the regional stage of the 2020–21 Thai League 3. Due to the epidemic of Coronavirus disease 2019 or also known as COVID-19, the season must be postponed to start in late 2020 and end in early 2021. In addition, the Thai League 4 had combined with the Thai League 3 and compete as Thai League 3 since this season and there is no relegation in this season. A total of 11 teams located in Northeastern of Thailand will compete in the league of the Northeastern region.
