The 2019 Uttarakhand Panchayat general elections were held in the Indian state of Uttarakhand on in three phases on 5, 11, and 16 October 2019. [1]

Contents

Previously, in the same year on 14 June 2019, the Uttarakhand State Election Commission also announced the poll dates for the municipal councils of Srinagar and Bajpur on 8 July 2019 and the results were declared on 10 July 2019. [2] [3] [4]

Additionally, the Uttarakhand State Election Commission announced the poll date for Roorkee Municipal Corporation on 22 November 2019 and results were declared on 24 November 2019. [5]

The 2022 Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly election have elected the incumbent fifth Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. Elections were held on 14 February 2022 when Bharatiya Janata Party emerged as the single largest party with 47 seats in the 70-seat legislature and formed the government. The Indian National Congress with 19 seats served as the opposition.

The Srinagar Municipal Corporation is the civic body that governs the city of Srinagar in Uttarakhand, India. Srinagar is the only hill-area in uttarakhand that has the status of municipal corporation.

2023 Uttar Pradesh municipal elections are expected to be held in 2023 to elect members of all 734 municipalities in the state. There are 17 Nagar Nigams, 200 Nagar Palika Parishad and 546 Nagar Panchayats in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

2023 Uttarakhand municipal general elections are expected to be held in late 2023 to elect members of all 102 municipalities in the state. There are 9 Municipal Corporations, 43 Municipal Councils and 50 Nagar Panchayats in the state of Uttarakhand.
