The 2020 Asian Track Cycling Championships (40th edition) took place at the Jincheon National Training Center Velodrome in Jincheon, South Korea from 17 to 21 October 2019. Despite the event was planned for 2020, it is brought forward to October 2019 because of the 2020 Summer Olympics qualification timeline. [1] [2]

Jincheon County (Jincheon-gun) is a county in Chungcheongbuk-do Province, South Korea.
The South Korea national football team represents South Korea in men's international football and is governed by the Korea Football Association. South Korea has emerged as a major football power in Asia since the 1980s, having participated in ten consecutive and eleven overall FIFA World Cup tournaments, the most for any Asian country. The 200 quota places for equestrian at the 2020 Summer Olympics were divided between the three disciplines. The 2020 Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Teams in each discipline consisted of three horse and rider pairs; any NOC that qualified a team also received 3 entries in the individual competition for that discipline. NOCs that did not qualify teams could earn one individual place in dressage and jumping, and up to two individual places in eventing, for a total of 15 entries in jumping and dressage and 20 for eventing. Teams qualify primarily through specific competitions, while individuals qualify through rankings. The host nation, Japan, automatically qualified a team in each discipline.

Jincheon National Training Center is a sports village under the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee. It was built due to the lack of space at the Korea National Training Center. After completing the first phase of the project on October 27, 2011, the completion ceremony was held on September 27, 2017, and it is located at 105 of the athletes' village in Gwanghyewon-myeon, Jincheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do.

The 2022 Korean Curling Championships, Korea's national curling championships, were held from June 11 to 17 at the Jincheon National Training Centre in Jincheon, South Korea. The winning teams on both the men's and women's sides became the Korean National Teams for the 2022–23 curling season. They will represent Korea at the 2022 Pan-Continental Curling Championships and later the 2023 World Women's Curling Championship and 2023 World Men's Curling Championship if they reach qualification. Both the men's and women's events were played in a round robin format which qualified four teams for the playoffs.
