The 2021 National Women's League, also known as Deputy Mayor National Women's League was the 2021 edition of the first-tier women's club football competition in Nepal organized by the All Nepal Football Association. The season started on 21 January. [3] [4] It was the first season since 2017/18, as the 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal. [5] APF Club was crowned champions on 17 February 2021.

Qualification

The season was made up of the teams that qualified for the2019–20 season, which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal; the three departmental teams as well as four regionally qualified teams. For the 2019–20 National Women's League season, the three departmental sports teams APF Club, Nepal Army FC, and Nepal Police Club were qualified and were joined by four local teams determined by all four semi-finalists of the Chandrapur Upa Mayor National Women's League Qualification Tournament played between Waling Municipality, Bangsgadhi Municipality, Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Birendranagar Municipality, Barhabise Municipality, Chaudandigadhi Municipality, Bidur Municipality, and Chandrapur Municipality in Chandrapur, Rautahat in February 2020. The 2018–19 Martyr's Memorial A-Division League season, also known as Pulsar Martyr's Memorial A-Division League for sponsorship reasons, was the 42nd edition of the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League since its establishment in 1954-55. A total of 16 teams competed in the league. The season began on 29 September 2018 and concluded on 8 January 2019. It was the first top-division league held in the country since the 2015 National League due to aftermath of the 2015 Nepal earthquake. On 16 September 2018, it was decided that there will be no relegation, however the two bottom-placed teams would have two and one points deducted, respectively, in the following season.

Seven franchises participated in the tournament played at the Dasharath Rangasala from 24 April to 15 May 2021. Kathmandu Rayzrs won the title after beating Dhangadhi FC in the final on 15 May 2021.

The 2022 National Women's League, also known as Deputy Mayor National Women's League is the ongoing 2022 edition of the first-tier women's club football competition in Nepal organized by the All Nepal Football Association. The season was scheduled to start on 29 January 2022, but was postponed to March 2022. APF Club were declared the champions of the league by ANFA in 2023.

The 2023 Martyr's Memorial A-Division League was the 45th edition of the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League since its establishment in 1954–55. A total of 14 teams competed in the league.
