The 2012 Colonial Square Ladies Classic was held from November 8 to 12 at the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It was the third women's Grand Slam event of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. The event was held in a triple knockout format with 48 teams, and the purse for the event was CAD$54,000. Lawton won her second Grand Slam and sixth Colonial Square Ladies Classic title with a win over Chelsea Carey in the final, stealing the winning point in the final end and winning with a score of 5–4.
The 2013 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Trials was held from March 14 to 17 at the Leduc Recreation Centre and the Leduc Curling Club in Leduc, Alberta. The winning team of the trials will represent Canada at the 2013 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship. It is the first ever Canadian Mixed Doubles championship. Previously, two players from the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship winning team were selected to play at the World Mixed Doubles championship.
The 2013 Masters Grand Slam of Curling was held from October 29 to November 3 at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre in Abbotsford, British Columbia as part of the 2013–14 World Curling Tour. The Masters was the first Grand Slam on the men's tour and the third Grand Slam on the women's tour. The purses for both the men's and the women's events were CAD$100,000 each.

The 2019 Humpty's Champions Cup was held from April 23 to 28 at the Merlis Belsher Place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It was the eighth and final Grand Slam event of the 2018–19 curling season. In the men's final, Brendan Bottcher defeated Kevin Koe 6–5 to win his 3rd career Grand Slam. In the women's final, Silvana Tirinzoni defeated Kerri Einarson 6–3 to win her 2nd career Slam.
The 2020 United States Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from February 27 to March 1 at the Bemidji Curling Club in Bemidji, Minnesota. The twelve teams were divided into two pools of six teams each. Each pool played a full round robin with the top three from each pool proceeding to the playoffs. The winning team of Tabitha Peterson and Joe Polo was supposed to represent the United States at the 2020 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Kelowna, Canada but the event got cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They will instead compete at the 2021 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland as the 2021 U.S. Mixed Doubles National Championship was postponed due to the pandemic.

The 2021 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from March 18 to 25 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta. The winning pair of Kerri Einarson and Brad Gushue represented Canada at the 2021 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland
The 2021 United States Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from May 19 to 23, 2021 at the Wausau Curling Club in Wausau, Wisconsin. The championship featured twenty four teams split into four pools of six. After the round robin, the top two teams from each pool qualified for the playoffs with the first place teams advancing to the seeding round.
The 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Pre-Trials were held from October 25 to 31 at the Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. The event qualified two teams for the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The 2022 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Olympic Trials, also known as the Canad Inns Canadian Mixed Doubles Trials, was scheduled to be held from December 28, 2021, to January 2, 2022, at Stride Place in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. The winners of this event were to represent Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics. On December 26, 2021, it was announced that the event would be cancelled due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada.
The 2022 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from April 23 to 30 at the Curling Club Trois-Chêne in the Geneva Sous-Moulin Sports Center in Thônex, a suburb of Geneva, Switzerland. The event was held alongside the 2022 World Senior Curling Championships. Eve Muirhead and Bobby Lammie of Scotland went undefeated the entire event, beating home team Alina Pätz and Sven Michel of Switzerland 9-7 in the final to win the gold medal.
The Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic (QMDC) is an annual mixed doubles curling event held in Banff and Canmore Alberta, Canada. The bonspiel is held in a round-robin format with a $30,000 purse. The event attracts top curlers from around the world.

The 2023 KW Fall Classic was held from September 14 to 17 at the KW Granite Club in Waterloo, Ontario. The men's event was held in a triple knockout while the women's event was held in a round robin. The purse was $12,500 for the men and $11,800 for the women.
