The 2021-22 Pioneer Football League will be 6th edition of the youth grassroots football league in Bangladesh hosted and run by the Bangladesh Football Federation. [1] The main goal of this league to produce future stars for national team and clubs. Though the previous seasons of the league were held in accordance with the U-16 format, but starting from this edition, it will be U-15 tournament. [2] This season 20 teams will participate from Dhaka district only. [3] [4]

Bangladesh Football Federation

Bangladesh Football Federation is the governing body that administrates the sport of association football in Bangladesh. It is run directly by the professional football league committee of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). Dhaka Derby is one of the most popular matches in the league. The league is the successor of National Football Championship, which existed from 2000 to 2006.

Dhaka League, currently known as Dhaka Senior Division League, is the third tier of football league in Bangladesh played by clubs in Dhaka. It was established 1948 by the Bangladesh Football Federation. Until 2006, it was the top-tier league of the country. The winner of the league will promoted to Bangladesh Championship League.
