2006 AFC Challenge Cup

The 2006 AFC Challenge Cup was held between 1 and 16 April 2006 in Bangladesh. Sixteen teams were split into four groups, the top two in each group qualifying for the quarterfinals, and from then on a straight knockout contest. There was no qualification stage. This was the 3rd edition of the Bangabandhu Cup, after a hiatus of 6 years. It was finally given the go ahead to be played in early 2015 with six nations participating.

The Bangabandhu Cup or Bangabandhu Gold Cup was an international association football tournament organised by the Bangladesh Football Federation as a tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. It was launched in 1996, this was the 4th time the tournament had been held. Eight teams from Asian Football Confederation participated in this edition.

The 2018 SAFF Championship, also known as 2018 SAFF Suzuki Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 12th edition of the SAFF Championship, the biennial international men's football championship of South Asia organized by SAFF. It was initially scheduled to be hosted by Bangladesh in December 2017, but later postponed to 4–15 September 2018.

The 2017 SAFF U-18 Championship was the 2nd edition of the SAFF U-18 Championship, an international football competition for men's under-18 national teams organized by SAFF. But since most teams use to send their U-18 team keeping in mind 2018 AFC U-19 Championship qualification it has been officially changed to U-18 tournament. The tournament was hosted by Bhutan 18–27 September 2017.

The 2017 Federation Cup also known as 2017 Walton Federation Cup due to the sponsorship from Walton was the 29th edition of the tournament. A total of 12 teams competed in this tournament. Dhaka Abahani was the winner of previous edition of the tournament.

2017 SAFF U-15 Womens Championship

The 2017 SAFF U-15 Women's Championship was the 1st edition of the SAFF U-15 Women's Championship, an international football competition for women's under-15 national teams organized by SAFF. The tournament was hosted by Bangladesh from 17–24 December 2017 at Bangabandhu National Stadium and BSSSM Mostofa Kamal Stadium. Four teams from the region took part.

The 2017–18 Independence Cup was the 9th edition of the Independence Cup association football tournament in Bangladesh. It was known as the Walton Independence Cup 2017–18 for sponsorship reasons.

This was the 5th edition of the tournament with six teams competing from 1 to 12 October 2018.

The 2019 SAFF Women's Championship was the 5th edition of the SAFF Women's Championship, the biennial international women's football championship contested by the national teams of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). Initially, scheduled from 17 to 26 December 2018 in Sri Lanka, the competition was rescheduled, as Sri Lanka withdrew as hosts. Afterwards, it was scheduled to be held in 2019 from 12–22 March and to be hosted by Nepal. India won the tournament by defeating Nepal 3–1 in the final.

2019 Bangamata U-19 Womens Gold Cup

The 2019 Bangamata U–19 Women's Gold Cup was the 1st edition of Bangamata U-19 Women's International Gold Cup, an annual international women's youth football tournament hosted by Bangladesh Football Federation.The main goal of this tournament to make strong pipeline of Bangladesh women's national football team in future. After the 4th edition of this tournament it will be National women's team tournament instead of Bangladesh women's national under-20 football team.


The 2019 BFF U-18 Football Tournament, It was the 3rd edition of BFF U-18 Football Tournament, a youth club football tournament in Bangladesh hosted by the Bangladesh Football Federation.The main goal of this tournament to produce future football players for Bangladesh national football team and clubs.

2020 Bangabandhu Cup

The 2020 Bangabandhu Gold Cup or simply 2020 Bangabandhu Cup was an international football tournament organized and hosted by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) as a name of tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. This was the 6th edition of the tournament, with six teams competing from 15 to 25 January 2020.

2019–20 Bangladesh Federation Cup football tournament season

The 2019–20 Federation Cup also known as 2019–20 TVS Federation Cup was 31st edition of the tournament, the main domestic annual club football competition in Bangladesh organized by Bangladesh Football Federation. The 13 participants will compete for the tournament. The winner of the tournament will earn the slot of playing preliminary round of 2021 AFC Cup.
