TV3 is a Malaysian free-to-air television channel owned by Media Prima conglomerate. It was launched on 1 June 1984 as the country's first and oldest private television channel. As of October 2021, TV3 remained the most-watched television station in Malaysia with about 17% of its viewing share among other Malaysian television stations, followed by NTV7 and TV9 with 15% of its viewing share, making two of them become the second most-watched television station in the country, despite the declining viewership of 3 free-to-air television channels.
NTV, an acronym of less commonly used National Television, is a Bangladeshi satellite and cable television channel based in the BSEC Building in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka. It was launched on 2 July 2003, and is one of Bangladesh's most popular television channels. In the anniversary of the channel, the founder expressed interest in creating NTV2 to satisfy the watchers further. NTV is owned by Mosaddek Ali Falu, a businessman. He was leader & vice president of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party.

Channel S is a UK-based, free-to-air television channel targeting the British Bangladeshi community. The channel was established on 16 December 2004 by Mahee Ferdous Jalil, a Bangladeshi businessman in London. On Sky it at first had a timesharing deal with ATN Global, and then in 2005 began to broadcast for 24 hours, 7 days a week; it is currently available on Sky channel 777. The channel claims to be the "Voice of British Bangladeshis across the world", showing programmes suiting community needs. Its slogan is "Working for the community".
University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) is a private liberal arts-based University in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Founded in February 2002, permission to open was received from the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh in November 2003, pursuant to the Private University Act 1992. Television is one of the most popular forms of media and information in Bangladesh. It was one of the first countries in South Asia to introduce television on 25 December 1964, in the then East Pakistan under the state-owned television network Pakistan Television Corporation in Dhaka. After the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, the Dhaka television station of PTV was renamed to Bangladesh Television, which had a monopoly on the television industry until 1997, with the launch of ATN Bangla on satellite television. Since then, privately owned television channels saw a tremendous rise in the Bangladeshi television market. As of 2019, 64% of households in Bangladesh had a television set.
Diganta Television was a Bangladeshi Bengali-language privately owned satellite and cable news television channel founded in 2007. The channel was owned Diganta Media Corporation, which also owns the daily newspaper Daily Naya Diganta. Diganta Television officially began broadcasting on 28 August 2008, and was shutdown along with Islamic TV on 6 May 2013, both of which were assumed to be supporting the Jamaat-e-Islami political party, and as a result faced boycotts during the 2013 Shahbag protests.

Amar Desh provides news about Bangladesh from local and regional perspectives and covers international news. Amar Desh is considered a popular opposition newspaper in Bangladesh and takes an editorial stance that favours the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. The newspaper has been closed down by the government of Bangladesh.

Great! TV is a general entertainment channel in the United Kingdom owned by Narrative Entertainment UK Limited. It originally launched as Sony Entertainment Television on 7 April 2011. However, it was closed on 6 February 2018 and replaced by Sony Crime Channel. It was brought back for a second time on 10 September 2019 when it replaced True Entertainment. The relaunched Sony Channel had different idents and programming than the former due to inheriting some programming from its predecessor True Entertainment and on 25 May 2021, following Narrative Capital's acquisition of Sony's channels, it was rebranded as Great! TV.

Mohammad Mosaddak Ali, also known as Phalu, is a Bangladeshi entrepreneur and a politician who was a former parliamentarian from Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). He served as the political secretary to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia between 2001 and 2004. He was responsible for building special relations and partnership for development between the government and the private sector that is interested in investing in new and highly potential industrial sectors, and introducing new products and services to local industries, at a time when Bangladesh's economic growth accelerated. In 2003, Ali launched Bangladesh's first automation-based private satellite television station NTV. He also founded another satellite channel RTV and Bengali daily newspaper Amar Desh. He is the founding President of Association of Television Channel Owners (ATCO).
Somoy Television is a 24-hour Bengali television channel in Bangladesh. Its headquarter is at 89, Bir Uttam CR Dutta Road, Banglamotor, Dhaka. It has a broadcast NOC license from the government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. After a test transmission on 10 October 2010, it has been commercially on-air since 17 April 2011. The channel is transmitted using satellite Bangabandhu-1, the first satellite of Bangladesh, operated by Bangladesh Communication Satellite Company Limited.

The channel broadcasts from its headquarters in the Sohrawardi Avenue of Baridhara. Ekattor is the first full HD news channel in Bangladesh. The channel's slogan is "Sangbad Noy Songjog".
News24 is a Bangladeshi pay television channel. It started operation in 2016. It is located in Bashundhara Residential Area, Baridhara, Dhaka and it is a subsidiary of East West Media Group owned by Bashundhara Group. News24 added an HD Channel on 1 February 2021.
