The 76th All-Japan Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held in three separate events. The individual all-around took place from 21-24 April, which was followed by the apparatus finals on 18-19 June, and the team all-around was held 10-11 December. [1] [2] [3]

Contents

After two years of being hosted by Takasaki, the competitions for individual events returned to Shibuya, Tokyo at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. The results were used to select the men's and women's national team competing at the World Championships, Asian Games, and the Summer Universiade. [4]

Kaya Kazuma is a Japanese artistic gymnast. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, winning silver with the Japanese team and bronze in the pommel horse. He is also a two-time World champion with the Japanese team and a two-time World medalist on the pommel horse. He is the 2019 Universiade team and all-around champion.

Wataru Tanigawa is a Japanese artistic gymnast. He won a gold medal with the Japanese team at the 2024 Summer Olympics and a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. At the 2022 World Championships, he won a silver medal in the team event and a bronze medal in the all-around. He also won team bronze medals at the 2018 and 2019 World Championships. He is also the 2022 Asian Games vault champion and a two-time World University Games champion.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Daiki Hashimoto</span> Japanese artistic gymnast

Daiki Hashimoto is a Japanese artistic gymnast. Widely regarded as the successor of Kohei Uchimura, he won two gold medals at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in all-around and horizontal bar, as well as a silver in team. His Tokyo individual gold medal win win made him the youngest Olympic All-Around champion, at age 19 years, 355 days. At the world championships, he has also won 3 golds, 5 silvers, and 1 bronze.

The 2020 U.S. Olympic gymnastics team trials were held June 24–27, 2021 at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis. At the conclusion of the event, USA Gymnastics named both the men's and women's team to represent the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 All-Japan Artistic Gymnastics Championships</span>

The 75th All-Japan Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held on 3 occasions. The individual all-around took place from 15-18 April, followed by the apparatus finals on 5-6 June, and finally the team all-around from 11-12 December.
