The 76th All-Japan Artistic Gymnastics Championships will be held in three separate events. The individual all-around took place from 21-24 April, which is to be followed by the apparatus finals on 18-19 June, and the team all-around has not yet been scheduled. [1] [2]

Contents

After two years of being hosted by Takasaki, the competitions for individual events have returned to Shibuya, Tokyo at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. Results from tournaments will serve as selection for the men's & women's national team competing at the World Championships, Asian Games, and the Summer Universiade. [3]

Kōhei Uchimura is a retired Japanese artistic gymnast. He is a seven-time Olympic medalist, winning three golds and four silvers, and a 21-time World medalist.

Three gymnastics disciplines were contested at the 2012 Olympic Games in London: artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampolining. The trampoline events were held at the North Greenwich Arena from 3 to 4 August; the artistic events were also held at the North Greenwich Arena, from 28 July to 7 August. The rhythmic gymnastics events took place at Wembley Arena from 9 to 12 August.

Mai Murakami is a Japanese retired artistic gymnast and Olympic medalist. She is the 2017 and 2021 World champion on floor exercise, the 2018 World all-around silver medalist and floor exercise bronze medalist, the 2021 World balance beam bronze medalist, and a four-time Japanese national all-around champion. She represented Japan at the 2016 and 2020 Olympics, winning a bronze medal on floor exercise in the latter. This made her the first female Japanese gymnast to win an individual medal at the Olympics.

The 2020 U.S. Olympic gymnastics team trials were held June 24–27, 2021 at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis. At the conclusion of the event, USA Gymnastics named both the men's and women's team to represent the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The 75th All-Japan Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held on 3 occasions. The individual all-around took place from 15-18 April, followed by the apparatus finals on 5-6 June, and finally the team all-around from 11-12 December.

This article describes the qualifying phase for gymnastics at the 2024 Summer Olympics. A total of 318 gymnasts will qualify.

Gymnastics at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris will be contested in three categories: artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampolining. The artistic and trampoline events will occur at the Bercy Arena, with the rhythmic events staged at Porte de La Chapelle Arena from 8 to 10 August.
