The boys' doubles of the tournament 2022 BWF World Junior Championships is an individual badminton tournament to crowned the best boys' doubles under 19 pair across the BWF associate members around the world. Players will compete to win the Eye Level Cup presented by the former BWF President and chairman of the World Youth Culture Foundation, Kang Young Joong. [1] The tournament will be held from 24 to 30 October 2022 in the Palacio de Deportes de Santander, Spain. [2] The defending champions were Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Marthin from Indonesia, but they were not eligible to participate this year. [3]

Kim Astrup Sørensen is a Danish badminton player. As junior player, he won the bronze medal at the 2010 World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles. He later won a gold in the mixed doubles and bronze medals in the boys' doubles and team events at the 2011 European Junior Championships. He joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China, where he and his teammates beating Indonesia 3–2 in the final. Astrup emerged victorious in the men's doubles at the 2018 European Championships.

Dechapol Puavaranukroh is a Thai badminton player. He was a gold medalist at the 2014 BWF World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles event with his partner Kittinupong Kedren. Puavaranukroh claimed doubles titles at the 2017 SEA Games by winning the gold medal in the men's doubles with Kedren and in the mixed doubles with Sapsiree Taerattanachai. Together with Taerattanachai, he won the silver and gold medals at the BWF World Championships in 2019 and 2021 respectively, became the first Thai pair who won the world title. The duo made a clean sweep of all three 2020 Asian leg titles in Thailand and all 2021 Bali leg titles, thus climbing to world number 1 in the BWF ranking. Puavaranukroh and Taerattanachai made history as the first ever Thai players to win a title in the year-end Finals tournaments and rank first in the world ranking.

Yuta Watanabe is a Japanese badminton player. He is a member of the Nihon Unisys team, and national team A representative. Known for his quick and explosive movements with signature drop shots on court, Watanabe has won the mixed doubles bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics, as well as being three-times BWF World Championships medalists.

Teo Ee Yi is a Malaysian badminton player. He won a silver medal with Ong Yew Sin at the 2023 Badminton Asia Championships and a bronze medal with Ong at the 2021 BWF World Championships. In the junior event, he captured the golds medal at the 2011 World Junior Championships in the team and boys' doubles events.

He Jiting is a Chinese badminton player. Kunlavut Vitidsarn is a Thai badminton player. He was three-times World Junior champion, winning in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Vitidsarn became the first men's singles player to win three World Junior Championships titles, joining Ratchanok Intanon and Chen Qingchen as a three-time winner of the World Junior title in the same discipline. He claimed the gold medal at the Asian Junior Championships in 2019, where he previously won a silver in 2018 and bronze in 2017. Vitidsarn participated at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, and was part of the team Omega took the silver medal in the mixed team event. He was named the 2020/2021 Eddy Choong Most Promising Player. In the senior category, he won the silver medal at the 2022 World Championships.

Wang Chang is a Chinese badminton player. Born in Ningbo, Zhejiang, Wang who trained in Ningbo training centre, entered the provincial team in 2015, and in the national team in 2017. After being selected to join the national team, he started his partnership with Di Zijian in the men's doubles discipline. He made a debut in the international tournament at the 2017 Badminton Asia Junior Championships, and claimed the gold medal in the boys' doubles event. He also participated at the 2017 World Junior Championships where he helped the team to take the Suhandinata Cup, and he also won the silver medal in the boys' doubles event. In 2018, he won the boys' doubles and mixed team titles at the Asia and World Junior Championships.

Leo Rolly Carnando is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with PB Djarum club. He was a World Junior Champions in the mixed doubles in 2018 and in the boys' doubles in 2019, also won double gold at the 2019 Asian Junior Championships in the boys' and mixed doubles events. Carnando was part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup.

Daniel Marthin is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Djarum club since 2015. He was a champion at the 2019 Asian and World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles event. Marthin was part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup.

The defending champions were Feng Yanzhe and Lin Fangling from China, but they were not eligible to participate this year.
