The 2022 Brunei FA Cup was the 13th edition of the Brunei FA Cup and was the sole club competition organised by the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam for the year 2022. It began on August 6 and will be played until 4 December. [1]
The winner of the FA Cup will become the nation's representative for the 2023–24 AFC Cup. [1]
DPMM FC became the winners of the competition by beating Kasuka FC 2–1 in the final at Track & Field Sports Complex on 4 December. [2] This is DPMM's second FA Cup triumph after last winning it in 2004. [3]
32 teams were divided into groups of four, making eight groups in total. Teams will only play one round of matches, and the top two teams in the group table will advance to the knockout stage. The knockout matches will be contested in a home-and-away format up until the final match. [1]

Tutong or officially known as Tutong Town is a municipality town in Mukim Pekan Tutong Tutong District, Brunei. It is located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) from the country's capital Bandar Seri Begawan.
The Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam, the national Scouting organization of Brunei, was founded in 1933, and became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1981. It began with 12 Scouts in 1933, in 1961 it had 322 Scouts, and by 2011 it rose to 2.086.
DST Group Brunei Premier League was the top-tier football league of Brunei until 2012, when it became the second tier of the football pyramid of Brunei with the creation of the Brunei Super League by the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam.
Abdul Muntaqim ibni Al-Muhtadee Billah is the oldest child and first son of Al-Muhtadee Billah, heir to the Sultan of Brunei, and his wife, Sarah, Crown Princess of Brunei. He has a younger sister, Princess Muneerah Madhul, who was born in 2011. The Prince is second-in-line to become Sultan of Brunei after his father Al-Muhtadee Billah. His father is heir to Abdul Muntaqim's grandfather Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei.
Football at the 1999 Southeast Asian Games took place in Brunei between 30 July and 14 August 1999. It was the last men's football tournament of the Southeast Asian Games to be played without an age limit.

The 2012 Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy was the fourth edition of the invitational tournament hosted by Brunei. The tournament took place in Brunei between 25 February and 5 March 2012. The competition is for players under the age of 22 and is being held only for the fourth time after 2002, 2005 and 2007. The tournament was not held in 2009 following the suspension imposed on the Brunei Amateur Football Association (BAFA) by FIFA. The organisers of the Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy 2012 have offered US$15,500 as reward for the champions. Originally, all ASEAN teams were supposed to participate at Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy 2012. However, Thailand eventually withdrew before any match were played.
Berakas Sports Complex is a multi-use stadium in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. It is currently used mostly for football matches, Track and Field, and Tennis Tournament. The stadium holds 500 people. It is also home to Kota Ranger FC.
Muhammad Azwan bin Ali Rahman is a Bruneian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for DPMM FC and the Brunei national team. He is his club's current captain.
Indera Sports Club, formerly Kilat FC and Indera Football Association, is a multi-sports club based in Brunei, mostly known for its association football team.
The 2014 Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy was the fifth edition of the invitational tournament hosted by Brunei. The tournament take place in Brunei from 9–23 August 2014. Eleven teams from the Asean Football Federation participate in the tournament for under the age of 22. The draw took place on 12 July 2014 at the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) House. The teams are divided into two groups. Host country, Brunei, were given a chance to choose which group they wished to be drawn in. Brunei chose to be drawn in group B. Indonesia was to confirm its participation in the tournament but was not included in the initial draw. Indonesia's participation was later confirmed by the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam on 20 July and a second draw was held on 22 July to include Indonesia. Indonesia send its U19 team.

Amirul Hakeem bin Haji Kasim is a Bruneian footballer who plays as a defender for Indera SC of the Brunei Super League and the Brunei national football team. He is the club captain of Indera and made his international debut at the age of 32.
