The Royal Brunei Police Force, RBPF (Malay : Polis Diraja Brunei (PDB) is in charge of keeping law and order in Brunei. The RBPF has been one of the 190 members of INTERPOL, an intergovernmental organisation worldwide since 1984.
With a force of more than 4,400 officers, the RBPF is responsible for keeping law and order and providing law enforcement services. The mandate for the RBPF in keeping the law in the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam includes the prevention, detection and investigation of crime, collection of criminal intelligence, traffic control, escort duties (VIPs, cash, prisoners), sea and border patrol, public order, riot as well as public event control. The Legislative Council of Brunei is a national unicameral legislature of Brunei. The council comprises 36 appointed members, that only has consultative tasks. Under Brunei's 1959 constitution, His Majesty Hassanal Bolkiah is the head of state with full executive authority, including emergency powers since 1962. The Council holds its sitting annually in March at the Legislative Council Building in Bandar Seri Begawan.

Halbi bin Mohammad Yussof is a Bruneian nobleman, military officer and politician who currently serves as a Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Defence II. The Istana Darussalam is the former residence of Omar Ali Saifuddien III and birthplace of Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah. The palace is located at Jalan Darussalam, Sumbiling Lama, Brunei-Muara District, Brunei. The building has become a tourist attraction and currently under the protection of the Antiquities and Treasure Trove Act of the Museums Department.
The Fire and Rescue Department (FRD), Malay: Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat (JBP), Jawi: جابتن بومبا دان ڤڽلامت, also known as Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD), is a government agency of Brunei Darussalam, responsible for firefighting, animal rescue, and technical rescue. Bomba is a Malay word derived from the Portuguese bombeiros, which means 'firefighters'. The department's main headquarters are located at Bandar Seri Begawan, in the Brunei-Muara District of the Sultanate of Brunei.
The Prime Minister's Office is the leading and largest cabinet-level ministry in the government of Brunei. It serves as the immediate office of the country's prime minister, as well as oversees several key government departments. It was established immediately upon Brunei's independence on 1 January 1984, with Hassanal Bolkiah, the current Sultan of Brunei, being the first and only Prime Minister to date. The leadership also consists of a Senior Minister, introduced in 2005 and has since been held by the Crown Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah, a Special Advisor to His Majesty, as well as in-house ministers and deputy ministers.
Pengiran Anak Damit was Queen of Brunei as the wife of the 28th Sultan of Brunei, Omar Ali Saifuddien III.
The Privy Council is a formal body of advisers to the monarch of Brunei. When His Majesty appoints people to posts with traditional ranks, titles, and honors, the council provides advice. The council was established in 1959 in accordance with Brunei's constitution and are in charge of advising His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on the three branches of government which are the executive, judicial, and legislative, even though they have separate powers. This is in keeping with the Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) philosophy of the country.
The Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council (RBPFSC); Malay: Majlis Sukan Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei or simply MS PPDB, is the multi-sport club of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) in Brunei Darussalam.
The Manteri are a group of royal dignitaries within the Sultanate of Brunei whose position ranks the fourth-highest official in the country behind the Sultan. There are two main groups in the Manteri, namely the Manteri Berchiri and the Manteri Bertauliah. Each person who is given a position in the Manteri is also given a certain title. They are also referred to in official speech and correspondence with specific honorific references. The title of Manteri is given to ordinary people and is held in a ceremony, which for the awarding of the title of Pehin Manteri, it is known as "menyampiri gelaran".
Pengiran Anak Abdul Rahim is a member of the royal family of Brunei as the husband to Princess Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah, daughter of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. Notably, he is a member of the Privy Council, and the vice chairman of DPMM FC.
