The number of the teams was expanded to 10 in this season. All matches were held at Yunnan Haigeng Football Base. The season was split into two stages. The first stage started on 23 August and concluded on 18 September 2020. The second stage started on 27 September and concluded on 11 October 2020.

The 2022 China League One was the 19th season of the China League One, the second tier of the Chinese football league pyramid, since its establishment in 2004.

It was held from 7 April to 18 November 2022.

The 2023 Chinese Football Association Cup, officially known as the Yanjing Beer 2023 Chinese FA Cup for sponsorship reasons, will be the 25th edition of the Chinese FA Cup. 64 teams will participate in the competition, 16 Super League teams, 16 League One teams, 16 League Two teams and 16 amateur teams. The draw for the 2023 Chinese FA Cup will be held on 5 May 2023. On 4 May 2023, Chinese Football Association published the list of amateur teams competing in the competition.

The 2024 Ping An Chinese Football Association Super League will be the 21st season since the establishment of the Chinese Super League. The league title sponsor is Ping An Insurance.
