The 2022 Norwegian Women's Cup is the 45th season of the Norwegian annual knock-out football tournament. The first round was played in April and May 2022. [1] The final is scheduled to be played on 5 November 2022. [2]

The Toppserien is the top level of women's association football in Norway. It was founded in 1984.
The Kniksen Award, established in 1990, honors the best players in the Norwegian football premiership. The award is named after the legendary Norwegian football player Roald Jensen, nicknamed "Kniksen".
