The 2014 season was Aalesund's eight consecutive season in the Tippeligaen, and their second season was with Jan Jönsson as their manager. They finished the season in 7th position, and reached the Fourth round of the Norwegian Cup, where they were defeated by Lillestrøm.
The 2015 season was Aalesund's ninth consecutive season in the Tippeligaen. They finished the season in 10th position, whilst also reaching the Third Round of the Norwegian Cup, where they were defeated by Hødd.
The 2016 season was Aalesund's tenth consecutive season in the Tippeligaen.
The 2017 season is Aalesund's tenth consecutive season in the Tippeligaen.
The 2018 season was Molde's 11th consecutive year in the top flight, Eliteserien, and their 42nd season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They competed in Eliteserien, the Cup and the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League, which they entered at the First qualifying round stage.
The 2018 season was Bodø/Glimt's first season back in the Eliteserien since their relegation at the end of the 2016 season. Bodø/Glimt finished the season in 11th position, and reached the Quarter-final of Norwegian Cup before defeat to IK Start.
The 2022 season is Rosenborg's 43rd consecutive year in the top flight now known as Eliteserien, their 54th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They will participate in Eliteserien and the Cup. This will be Kjetil Rekdal's first season as Rosenborg manager.
The 2022 season was Sandefjord's third consecutive year in the top flight now known as Eliteserien, a record in the club's history. They participated in Eliteserien and the Cup. In the end, Sandefjord finished at 14th place but won relegation play-offs against Kongsvinger.
The 2022 season was Tromsø IL's 102nd season in existence and the club's third consecutive season in the top flight of Norwegian football. In addition to the domestic league, Tromsø IL participated in this season's edition of the Norwegian Football Cup.
