Gwinyai Chingoka was a former Zimbabwean tennis player. He represented Zimbabwe at the Davis Cup. He was affectionately known as Shumba in the sporting circles due to his stamina and strength while playing tennis. His father Paul Chingoka was a former President of the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee and former President of Tennis Zimbabwe. His uncle Douglas Chingoka was a basketball player and football player who also turned up in the position as a striker for club Dynamos.
Mildred Reason Dube was a Zimbabwean politician who served in the Senate of Zimbabwe from 2018 until her death in 2022, representing Bulawayo. First elected in the 2018 Zimbabwean general election, Dube was a close ally of Thokozani Khupe.
Watson Khupe was a Zimbabwean disability activist and politician who served in the Senate of Zimbabwe from 2018 to 2022 as a member of the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front. Khupe represented a specially allotted constituency for people with disabilities.
Callistus Dingiswayo Ndlovu was a Zimbabwean academic, diplomat, and politician. He joined the Zimbabwe African People's Union (ZAPU) in 1963 as a teacher in Matabeleland, and went on to serve as its representative to the United Nations and North America in the 1970s. After Zimbabwe's independence in 1980, he was a member of the House of Assembly from 1980 to 1985 and served as a senator from 1985 to 1990. He left ZAPU and joined the ruling ZANU–PF party in 1984.
Miss Grand Zimbabwe was a Zimbabwean female national beauty pageant founded in 2013 by former Miss Zimbabwe Samantha Tshuma. The contest's winners represent the country at the Miss Grand International pageant. In 2014, Tshuma relinquished her post as director for her partner, Chris Vukani Mhlanga. After two consecutive years of scandal, the partnership with Miss Grand International was terminated the following year and the license was later purchased by Culvin Mavunga in 2016 but no representative was sent that year.
