The knockout stage of the 2023 Copa Paulino Alcantara , the domestic cup competition of the Philippines, began on 29 September with the quarterfinals and is scheduled to end on 9 December 2023 with the final to be played at Rizal Memorial Stadium. Eight teams competed in the knockout stage, which includes six teams who have played in the Philippines Football League along with the University of the Philippines and CF Manila, which have never played in the said league. Format

Each tie in the knockout stage, apart from the final, was played over two legs. The team that scored more goals on aggregate over the two legs advanced to the next round. If the aggregate score is level, then 30 minutes of extra time will be played. If the score is still level at the end of extra time, the winners will be decided by a penalty shoot-out. In the final, which will be played as a single match, if the score is still level at the end of normal time, extra time will be played, followed by a penalty shoot-out if the score is still level after that.

Bracket

The bracket was decided during the main draw held on 17 June 2023. [1] [2] A third place match was supposed to be held on the same day as the final, but was later cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. [3]

The 2022 AFF U-16 Championship was the fifteenth edition of the AFF U-16 Youth Championship, the annual international youth association football championship organised by the ASEAN Football Federation for men's under-16 national teams of Southeast Asia. It was hosted by Indonesia from 31 July to 12 August 2022. Twelve member associations of the ASEAN Football Federation competed in the tournament featuring three groups of four teams. The 2023 PFF Women's League season is the fourth season of the women's national league of the Philippines following the 2019–20 season.

The final of the fifth season of the Copa Paulino Alcantara was contested by Kaya–Iloilo and Davao Aguilas at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila. It was the first time the two teams have faced each other since the inaugural final in 2018, where Kaya won 1–0.
