The 2023 Duleep Trophy was the sixtieth edition of the Duleep Trophy, a domestic first-class cricket competition that was played in India. [1] It took place from 28 June to 16 July 2023. [2] The tournament was played across six zones, forming part of the 2023 Indian domestic cricket season, announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in April 2023. [3] [4] West Zone were the defending champions. [5] [6] In the final, South Zone defeated West Zone by 75 runs to win their 14th title. [7]

The 2021–22 Ranji Trophy was the 87th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. They were eliminated in the quarter-finals.

It took place from 19 October to 9 November 2023, with 37 teams divided into five groups. The tournament formed part of the 2023–24 Indian domestic cricket season, announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in April 2023. Railways, the defending champions, were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
