Sebastián Báez defeated Dominic Thiem in the final, 6–3, 6–1 to win the singles tennis title at the 2023 Austrian Open Kitzbühel. It was his third ATP Tour singles title. [1] This was Thiem's first appearance in an ATP Tour final since the 2020 ATP Finals, and his last before retiring from professional tennis the following year. Thiem was also the second consecutive Austrian wildcard to reach the final, after Filip Misolic the previous year.
Roberto Bautista Agut was the reigning champion, [2] but withdrew before the tournament began.
The top four seeds received a bye into the second round.

Fabio Fognini was the defending champion, but lost in the semifinals to Roberto Bautista Agut.
Bautista Agut went on to win the title, defeating Lukáš Rosol in the final, 6–3, 4–6, 6–2.
Pablo Cuevas was the last edition champion, but he chose to defend another of his previous title in Båstad which was held simultaneously with the Croatia Open Umag this year.
Rafael Nadal defeated Gaël Monfils in the final, 7–5, 5–7, 6–0 to win the singles tennis title at the 2016 Monte-Carlo Masters. It was his record-extending ninth Monte-Carlo Masters title.

Matteo Berrettini defeated Aslan Karatsev in the final, 6–1, 3–6, 7–6(7–0) to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Serbia Open.
Novak Djokovic defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final, 6–0, 7–6(7–5) to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2022 Italian Open. It was his sixth Italian Open title and record-extending 38th Masters 1000 title overall. Djokovic did not lose a set during the tournament, and won his 1000th ATP Tour-level career match against Casper Ruud in the semifinals.
Francisco Cerúndolo defeated Sebastián Báez in the final, 7–6(7–4), 6–2 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2022 Swedish Open. It was his maiden ATP Tour title.
Defending champion Casper Ruud defeated Matteo Berrettini in the final, 4–6, 7–6(7–4), 6–2 to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Swiss Open Gstaad.

Daniil Medvedev defeated Jannik Sinner in the final, 7–5, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 Miami Open. It was his fifth career Masters 1000 title, fourth title of 2023, and 19th career title overall. He became only the ninth man to win five Masters titles.

It took place at the Tennis stadium Kitzbühel in Kitzbühel, Austria, from 31 July through 5 August 2023.
Luciano Darderi defeated Facundo Bagnis in the final, 6–1, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2024 Córdoba Open. It was his first ATP Tour title. This was only the third final in ATP history to be contested between two qualifiers, following the 2015 Sydney International and the 2018 Austrian Open.

Berrettini did not drop a set en route to his tenth ATP Tour title, and his second title in as many weeks, after winning the Swiss Open the week before. It was Gaston's first ATP Tour final since the 2021 Swiss Open.
