The SpeedyCash.com 250 is an annual NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race held at the Texas Motor Speedway near Fort Worth, Texas. The race is currently held on the same weekend as the IndyCar Series race at the track, the PPG 375 and is a standalone race for the Truck Series.
The IndyCar Series has held racing events at Texas Motor Speedway, near Fort Worth, Texas, since 1997. The races have had a variety of different title sponsors and distances over the years, and therefore the Texas round has changed names frequently. The latest event, held in 2023, was called the PPG 375.
The IndyCar Series operation of McLaren, competing as Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team due to sponsorship, is based in Indianapolis and was founded by former IndyCar driver Sam Schmidt in 2001 as Sam Schmidt Motorsports. The team operates the Nos. 5, 6 and 7 Dallara-Chevrolet entries for Pato O'Ward, David Malukas and Alexander Rossi respectively.
