Jannik Sinner defeated Vasek Pospisil in the final, 6–4, 3–6, 7–6(7–3) to win the singles tennis title at the 2020 Sofia Open. It was his first ATP Tour title.
Two-time defending champion Novak Djokovic defeated Daniil Medvedev in the final, 7–5, 6–2, 6–2 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Australian Open. It was his record-extending ninth Australian Open title and his 18th major title overall. With his fourth round win against Milos Raonic, Djokovic joined Roger Federer as only the second man with 300 or more match wins in majors.
Aslan Karatsev won his first ATP Tour singles title, defeating Lloyd Harris in the final, 6–3, 6–2 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Dubai Tennis Championships. Karatsev became the second wildcard in the tournament's history to win the men's singles title. Harris was the first qualifier to reach the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships.
Alexander Zverev was the defending champion from when the event was held in 2019, but chose not to defend his title.
Cameron Norrie defeated Nikoloz Basilashvili in the final, 3–6, 6–4, 6–1 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Indian Wells Masters. It was his first ATP Tour Masters 1000 title, and he became the first Briton to win the title. Basilashvili became the first Georgian to reach a Masters-level final since Alex Metreveli in 1968, and the first to do so while representing Georgia as an independent nation.

Carlos Alcaraz defeated Casper Ruud in the final, 7–5, 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2022 Miami Open. It was his first Masters 1000 title, and he became the first Spaniard to win the title. The victory also made Alcaraz, at 18 years and 333 days old, the youngest men's singles titlist in Miami Open history, and the youngest Masters 1000 champion since Rafael Nadal at the 2005 Monte Carlo Masters. Ruud became the first Norwegian to reach a Masters 1000 final, and the first Scandinavian since Robin Söderling at the 2010 Paris Masters.

It was his fifth ATP Masters 1000 and 13th career ATP Tour title. Alcaraz became the first player to defend the title since Novak Djokovic in 2016, and the eighth overall; he was the second player to do so before turning 21, after Boris Becker in 1988.
Jannik Sinner defeated Grigor Dimitrov in the final, 6–3, 6–1 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2024 Miami Open. It was his second ATP Masters 1000 title and 13th career ATP Tour title. Sinner became the first Italian singles player, male or female, to win the Miami Open. With the win, Sinner achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 2, being the first Italian player of either gender to do so. Sinner became the first player to reach at least the quarterfinals in his first four appearances at the Miami Open since Stefan Edberg in 1991. Aged 22, Sinner also became the youngest player to reach three Miami finals, after two previous finals in 2021 and 2023.
Yoshihito Nishioka defeated Jordan Thompson in the final, 4–6, 7–6(7–2), 6–2 to win the singles title at the 2024 Atlanta Open. It was his third ATP Tour title. Nishioka became the first unseeded player to win the tournament since Robby Ginepri in 2009, and was the first singles champion to not be from Australia or the United States.
The 2024 Almaty Open is a professional men's tennis tournament to be held on indoor hard courts. It will be the fifth edition of the tournament, and part of the ATP Tour 250 Series of the 2024 ATP Tour.
